I was charged for insufficient funds fee for $535 in just 7 days. I think it is ridiculous to charge me that much money in just 7 days, and the bank did not warn me about it.  I think I am getting overcharged for something that is not fair and it is ridiculously expensive.

I would like to sue the company if it is possible and take them to the court. I dont know how to get my money back or at least get 50% back. Please someoen help me to win the money back.

I have a great idea

AUTHOR: Stacey - (U.S.A.)

Stop using your debit card like it is a credit card and start reconciling your monthly bank statement, use a check register and stop relying on online, atm and phone balances -

Start taking care of your OWN finances and stop blaming the bank for your mistakes

You Have No Responsibility In This, Do You?

Here we go again...another case of someone who would rather blame anyone else but themselves.  Hey poster...does somebody "warn you" when you try to cross the street or do you look both ways?  When you run out of toilet paper, does somebody call you and tell you?  Pardon my language, but what the hell is the problem here?????

Its your account, right?  Its your money, right?  Then why don't you know how much is in the account BEFORE you write checks, use the ATM or use your fake credit card?

Should banks be charging overdraft fees?  Absolutely!  Why not make money on those who don't have the common sense to keep a WRITTEN, CURRENT balance?

OK, now I've been "harsh" on you.  Poor Baby.  Lets solve this problem, once and for all, shall we?  Today, like right NOW, start keeping a written balance that you update EACH and EVERY time you use the ATM, a check or a check card.  You write it down within MINUTES of spending it.  Within the next two weeks or so, your WRITTEN RECORD should be accurate TO-THE-PENNY.  Do not...repeat...DO NOT rely on the telephone automated system or an internet record of the balance.  Why?  Because yours will be more accurate.

You've managed to figure out how to use a computer.  I feel confident you can add and subtract.  All you need is the discipline to update that written record WITHIN MINUTES of using the card or check.

If you do this, I guarantee you...see that?  I GUARANTEE YOU, you will NOT pay and overdraft fee again unless its the bank's fault.

No One Warned You?

It seems as though most folks with a bank account know that to overdraw the account will result in fees.  No warning is given.  You should know when you don't have money i the account.  That is the agreement with the bank when you sign up.  However, there can be some strange charges or fraud.  What caused you to have so many overdrafts to result in that many fees?
