do not work for this company, they are a ripoff. they use loadboards, can not find you loads, and the ones they do find, they do not pay much. they had me sitting in nj,ga,va,fl,pa, for 3-4 days each because they could not find me a load, and still charge you for the trailer, insurance, tags etc. they will run you and advance you just enough fuel to make it to the recieving dock, and do not run out of fuel (due to them) they will leave you hanging, lucky i was at home .

A Name Does Not Mean A Thing

AUTHOR: Wasted Time - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 13, 2008

Steve is obviosly a total moron. Just because the word LUMBER is in the companies name doesn't mean that is what is hauled. Was leased to them for 3 yrs and only hauled 4 loads of lumber. So maybe the next time you want to voice an oppinion you should know something about the company. Here is some info for you to chew on, they are nothing but a bunch of ex Conn. cops that think they are better than you. They change the rules to suit themselves whenever they seem fit. They charge you for trailer rent($160/mo), all insurance($145/mo),and even try to make you pay for all the repairs to their trailer. So tell me what would be different, (other than it would be my company without their greedy hands in the money), about having your own authority.

Hey 'Motown", easy solution here!...Get your own authority, and book your own loads!

Get your own authority and book your own loads. Problem solved!

You are obviously a rookie, or just a bonafide moron. FYI...Lumber is some of the cheapest freight out there. So, if you specialize in lumber, you specialize in cheap freight.

Expenses like plates and insurance are constant and need to be paid regardless of whether or not there are any loads!

Did you ever just stop and think that maybe there are at some times more trucks than loads?

AND, several states, like Florida, are EXTREMELY hard to get loads out of, especially on a flatbed.
