I paid Juan Treminio $1255.00 and gave him the front and rear bumpers for my 62 Ford Thunderbird at a car show in Gas City Indiana last September to have them rechromed.He had a front bukper shell at the show which I picked up at the time I gave him mine.He gave me a receipt saying he owed me 2 front extensions,1 rear center, 2 rear Qs ends,1 rear gas lid, and 1 U shaped front bumper guard.
In December I received a front bumper shell which is the only part I picked up at the show. I called him and explained what I had and he called me back and said he would send me a UPS label to ship the bumper to the right person.I received a label and a check made out to UPS for $29.00. Juan called UPS and made arrangements to have it picked in February. UPS picked the bumper up, then sent me a letter with a photocopy of his check with insufficient funds on it and wanted me to pay the $29.00 plus $25.00 service charge. I mailed the letter to him at the address on his check which was 17360 Colima RD. NO. 167,Roland Heights, CA. 91748.
As of today (4/14/2010) I have received the rear center, and the 2 front ends. I have called and left 6 voice mail messages inquiring as to when I can expect to receive the rest of my order and sent an e-mail message doing the same. He has failed to respond to any of them.The front bumper guard and rear tailight Qs are scarce and expensive so I figured he's probably sold them on Ebay or at some car show.This guy is definitely a CROOK!
