We reported deceptive fraud trade practice to include both Jubilee, and Members Choice retaining all buyers documentation approx 2 weeks. We were told the Sonata was new. Come to find out Members Choice Put the Note on my account, after using My Sons Down Payment, and Insurance Binder leading him to believe he was the buyer.  Jubilee stated Members Choice FCU said " Pick Out a Less expensive Auto" His 1st choice was a Galant aprox $21,000 with a $3,000 dollar rebate. Jubilee/Members choice inflated the price, total on the Documentation is over $30,000 after all the bogus fees, etc, I went through the complaint process, they just ridiculed my Son and I and were even viloent towards us. My Son, and I served in the Military, I am a disabled Veteran, they discriminated against me exploiting my disabilities.  Using it for their personal gain. They even referred to us as military servants in an email Members Choice FCU sent me.

Recently searching the Internet I found the Sonata VIN#  5NPEB4AC6BH064243 on ebay item# 230614065748. This is the Fraudulent Auto Loan processed by Members Choice FCU. The Sonata is stated to have 43,000 miles, with bids, and sold 3, May 2011. It was listed on ebay 26, April 2011 starting bid $14,000 dollars. We did not know anything about the ebay listing, and my son purchased the Sonata on 27, April 2011. The price was inflated without ous knowing, and the miles were rolled back. I have reported this fraud to Members Choice FCU, they continue to cover it up. They refuse to take my phone calls, and refuse to answer any emails.

The contract by Members Choice FCU, and Jubilee Subaru stated 23,175 on the odoemeter. Members Choice is not returning any of my emails, or phone calls. Also my wife, and I were in the process of purchaseing a home, now it looks like we will loose it because of this deceptive.

They are trying to cover everything up this illegal auto loan. They retained all paerwork, and checked anybox they wanted. We have no way of knowing what has been altered.  I do not know if this is part of a car ring scam, or if  someone is getting money under the table bribes for loans?

Rebuttal

I would like to steadfastly refute each and every baseless claim made by the user identified as US honorable veteran.  Not once have we ever dodged this users phone calls and I have spoken to him several times on the matter personally.  Even though his claims are easily disputable as shown below, we went above and beyond and reworked the deal in his sons name only even before we had ever heard of this report.

First and foremost I find it very disheartening that we are accused of mistreating military veterans.  As this user knows I myself am an honorable veteran and we hold other veterans in the upmost regard.  We sell a large number of veterans and we hear nothing, but compliments as to how we go above and beyond in the treatment of current and former members of the armed services.

In regards to the purchase of the vehicle the user and his son both were fully aware they were cosigning with each other on an auto loan.  They both signed several documents to include credit application, loan documents, etc.  To include the Notice to consigner which states that is signed by all parties stating that everyone is aware they are cosigning on the loan and are responsible for the repayment thereof.

I have proof that the vehicle was purchased at auction and sold straight to the customer.  The ebay item he is referring to is a typo on their part or a misrepresentation because we have never listed a vehicle on ebay nor do we plan to.  We also have proof of the odometer mileage showing that there has never been a discrepancy.
