he accepted a bribe from a major label to sign his client ( the artist)all the while he was telling the artist the other offers declined - and agreed not to pass on an offer from another major label for an artists contract. when confronted -hedenied this however never billed the artist and stopped returning phone calls.slimey but charming

Nonsense. Jules I Kurz is one of the few honest Attorneys in the music business. He has a stellar reputation in that business for over 30 years and is now basically retired. I highly doubt this complaint came from the "Ed Asner" of TV fame but perhaps some struggling artist who was not good enough to make the grade. Make the facts clear if you have a issue but spouting without backup is idiotic.
