Recently traded my barrel prospect horse for what was called a "beginner safe, no buck, no rear, horse" I rode him the day of and he was great. After assured I would remain in contact with not only them but the horse I traded them and assured if things didn't work out with their horse, that they would either come help me out, trade me back, or buy my horse and take theirs back, we traded horses. The horse I ended up with was a severely underweight horse, who were told was a rescue and would take time to fatten up, we believed them, later to find out they had the horse for seven months and was still a body condition score of 3 with no medical reason why he should still be that skinny. The first ride at home with a beginner rider on him, he bucked and reared. I contacted them and was told it was very out of character but again assured if problems still occurred we can trade back. Two days later, same problems, with different riders and the beginner,(several tack changes and vet check, to rule out anything on our end causing a problem).  I again contacted them, and said I would like to trade back, however, this time, they couldn't, they loved my horse too much (after four days???) and then they cut off all connections, blocking me from sites, not answering messages, texts, or phone calls. I then posted a post on the bad dealings, received nasty messages from them due to post. Later to find out, they had already traded my horse again, before telling me how much they loved him and how they couldn't trade him, he was already at someone else's house! They still refuse to talk to me, I have filed small claims on them and in process of waiting. I have even offered sitting down and discussing and coming to common ground and I will drop the claims. They refuse. Not only do they do bad business in the horse world, and I am not the first to experience this from them, but they also mistreat horses/neglect horses. The one I got from them, in addition to underweight (who is now after a month and half at a healthy weight) has scarring on right side of body that may never heal, a fractured orbital bone so bad his eye sits back in socket and hair will not grow there and missing eye lashes, and lastly his feet were chucks and chips when I got him. If I could post pictures of this horse, I would, from day one to now and all the days in between. These are not people to deal with and I pray no one ever ends up in this situation with them, as you will never see money from them if you are asking for money or if court orders money, as another person in my shoes has won their court case against them and hasn't seen a dime.
