Time Line regarding Juniper Credit Card

22 April 2009 Applied for card, online

03 May 2009 wrote letter to Juniper via certified Mail, cc: to Apple

07 May 2009 received phone call from Juniper asking me to verify my home address, length of time at the address, employer, & length of time with employer. All of this was included in my application & I re-verified the info over the phone & verbally was approved for $3,500 credit limit & the 12 months 0% terms

14 May 2009 I received the card which was approved for the $3,500 limit, but not the 12 months 0% financing terms

19 May 2009 I received a call from Apple in reference to my 03 May 2009 Letter. I explained the card $3,500 limit was approved: I was not approved for the 12 months 0k% financing. J Jaskiewicz, suggested I call Juniper to see if they reconsider the terms.

19 May 2009 I called Juniper & was told my application had been approved after the 30 April 2009 closing date for the promotion, hence I could not be approved for the 12 months 0% financing. No explanation was given for why my credit applications hadn't been approved immediately. I have 773 FICA score or higher with 3 credit reporting agencies, 4+ years with same employer, 4+ years at same address

19 May 2009 I email the essence of my conversation with Juniper to J Jaskiewicz, with Apple, Inc

21 May 2009 Composed & mailed certified letters to the 3 credit reporting agencies telling them that I'd not activated my Juniper credit card & had not asked Juniper to close my account. I wrote proactively because I don't want my credit score to be lowered if Juniper tells them, falsely, that I requested Juniper to close my account

22 May 2009 J Jaskiewicz, from Apple called me at 0930, the essence of our conversation is that J Jaskiewicz had spoken to Juniper who told him they had been inundated with credit application, that my application had been approved after the closing 04.30.2009 date of the promotion & that nothing could be done to change their decision.

I've NOT activated the card I received & will NOT use it under any circumstances
