Just Brakes Charged for work we did not need; did not solve the problem we presented ripoff Austin Texas

My 2001 Mazda Tribute was brought to Just Brakes with the complaint of a whistling noise that occurred when the brake was released. The service provider at Just Brakes indicated that he knew what the problem was. He gave us the usual package when you get when you go to a Just Brakes: pads, machining the rotors, disc hardware, calipers (which we later found out were fine), and a bleeding of the brake system. We were charged $285.80 for the repair.

The noise persisted. We brought the Tribute back 2 days later and this time were told the noise was caused by a vacuum booster that would need to be replaced, a totally different problem which was not mentioned when we first complained about the noise. We were told this would be another $250.

If that's what we needed, why did we get the $285 package? All we wanted was for the noise to go away! I'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow to get a second opinion on what's even wrong with it.
