Just Brakes ripoff dishonest cheat Colorado Springs Colorado
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Did you sign the estimate box at the bottom
Just Brakes quoted me a price of $130.82 for a set of 2 front brake rotors for my vehicle. I verified with the salesman that this price was for two rotors and he assured me it was. The price of $65 each was very reasonable and I agreed to the work. The final bill came back at $130.82 FOR EACH ROTOR, double what I was told before hand. This price is over twice what a fair price should be. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! I also bought $300 in a caliper rebuild and piston replacement that I doubt if I needed or if it was even accomplished.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Did you sign the estimate box at the bottom

Im a Ex manager that quit due to Just Brakes unethical pratices. Did you sign the estimate box at the bottom agreeing to the amount. If you did you should have known that your were paying more then sixty some bucks for each rotor. Now if you didnt sign the estimate you didnt have to pay it and they would have to release your vehicle to you. Oh just so you know i was a manager a couple of the Denver chains. Now if i remeber correctly i could be wrong i thought there was a price goudgeing law in colorado not allowing a buisness to mark up a part more then 30 percent. Now what rotors costs our stores on average were 15 to 25 dollars per rotor. Even if you rotors cost the store 25 dollars 135 dollars per rotor is more then a 30 percent markup. You might want to check cause if thats the case then you have a suit on your hands. Now as for the 300 dollar caliper rebuild. When i managed my stores my costs i was suppose to chare for crap outside of the friction were outragous but i dont think i ever charged even close to 300 dollars to rebuild a set of calipers. most of the time it was a third of that in fact, call around to the auto part stores i can almost guarentee you a brand new set of calipers would have cost you half as much as this store charged you to rebuild your old ones. If what you said happened to you actually happened you got really taken advantage of and you should be able to persue legal actions.
