Just Brakes went in for brake estimate. said it should be around $500-700. i authorized that much. by the time they finished, they called me, having already gone ahead and completed the work for a total of $1200. Las Vegas Nevada

Do not pay them. You do not have to pay them because you did not authorize that amount. I would tell them to take the parts off of your car, they can do this and they may try and lower the amount. In any event DO NOT let them keep the parts on your car. Just Brakes is not trust worthy, they do not know how to put on brakes and try deliberately to to make you come back for more repairs. I work for a mechanic shop and we have had hundreds and hundreds on complaints from this company.. The complaints range from promicing amounts and then charging tripple for brake repairs and also lying and saying that the car needs work that it does not need. Plain and simple, they are thiefs and this is ALL JUST BRAKES shops. That being said from now on do your research, I do not want to sound harsh but I am tired of Just Brakes ripping people off. They were also on the news here in Atlanta GA where I live and they are still in business because people allow there cars to be worked on by this place. They should be out of business, I have personally had several friends that have been out of money from this company and have also had DANGEROUS brake problems.
