Do not bring your vehicle to Just Brakes for any service - whatsoever!  Visited Just Brakes at a location in Phx (Union Hills/40th St) for a simple pad replacement on rear brakes.  Car made horrible noises after the service was performed.  Went back 7 times, with the first time after original service being that same night.

The first visit, I was told that they put the clips on backwards and that it was "common" for that to happen.  They could never fix or figure out the issue.  After visit 3, I called corporate and spoke to Carl, for a refund, who asked me to give them one more chance to make it right and if they didn't, I would receive a refund.  He strung us along for several more visits.  We bought the middle of the road brake package for $165 after taxes.  I was told they replaced the pads the first time with the same ones and on visit 7 with the highest quality pads.

After filing a BBB complaint and receiving a response, I find out that they replaced the FRONT pads (first I have heard of this even after specific conversations of the front brakes being fine).  I suspect that they either did the wrong thing or that they are mixing us up with another unhappy customer.  They also state that they replaced them with the "basic brake package" at no charge.  The basic brake package is $99 and I paid $165, for the next level of pads.  I was told they replaced the pads with the same quality that time and now I am finding out they downgraded my brake pads but did not refund me that difference?  That constitutes fraud, especially when they represented that the same grade of pads were used.  After several phone calls and visits with the manager of the store and corporate, we were promised a refund.  Corporate (Carl) decided he does not want to give a refund and wants me to take it to another of their locations AFTER 7 attempts of fixing the issue.  They also only have documentation of 3 visits, and I am not even sure they have that info correct or are looking at my vehicle when they could not find it in their system a few weeks ago. Most, if not all of the information they provided in their BBB response was incorrect/false.

I called the store a few weeks ago to ask a question and some random car showed up under my account, and the store manager said there was some maintenance going on with the computers and "the accounts were being mixed up and/or deleted" and that he had reported that issue but no one had responded so far.  He said he knew that was my info even if it was the wrong car because he "remembered the part number."  Something was very fishy about that information along with everything else.  The store manager also was surprised it was not resolved and knows that we were in there much more than 3 times.
