This company had the best price for a car seat I wished to purchase.  I placed the order on their website and they billed my credit card.  I THEN received an email that my address entered did not match the address I used to place the order and they requested I send a copy of my drivers license, and a copy of the credit card or statement (with numbers blacked out) to their email or fax. 

Realizing I may have entered a street address instead of the po box billing address, I retried ordering with a different credit card, making sure the information was accurate.  AGAIN, I was asked to provide my information.  I was told that I could also text a picture of my card to them if I could not scan or fax it.

I called my credit card companies, both verified the orders were approved.  Both verified my addresses were correct.  BOTH recommended NOT emailing or faxing the information to them.

THEN, after many emails back and forth, it was suggested I use paypal.  But because my previous orders were cancelled, they could not and WOULD NOT honor my discount I had found online.  Citing the coupon code was a one time use code and that they did not have access to those codes nor could make a price adjustment manually.  And that since paypal charged them a fee (all credit cards do), they would not honor my discount.  The only way to honor the discount was emailing them my card picture.

I called and ended up with the same person who I was emailing with, who refused to let me speak to a manager.  She also put me on hold and called her credit card company, Chase, and asked them if me emailing them the photo was acceptable - and came back on the line to tell me someone at Chase told her that it was - I was on hold the whole time and did not hear this for myself.  At the end of the conversation, I was told that the cleaning crew had arrived and it was time for them to leave.

The most RIDICULOUS service I have EVER encountered.  If the car seat was not $50 lower than all other internet prices, I would not even try this route.  But I refuse to email a picture of my credit card.  I understand they are trying to protect themselves from fraud, BUT, after offering to use paypal, so their payment was guaranteed, I am LIVID that they would not honor the discounted price because I chose to use paypal instead of emailing them a photo of my credit card.  All the while, she insists that as long I black out the middle 8 digits, I am protected from fraud.   Also told me that without the security code, fraud cannot be committed, yet I gave them the security code, so wouldn't that mean I am not fraudulent?  And honestly, emailing them a picture only confirms I have the card in my possession, not that I am the owner of the card - which is the fraud they claim they are trying to prevent.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life.
