Not only did JustAnswer.com technician not solve my problem, but I was automatically billed through PayPal for telling him so (whereas I was supposed to be given the right to decline billing). Moreover, they signed me up for a continuing subscription (for $29 per month) and claimed I had done it. I wasted much time canceling out the subscription with PayPal. Beware the JustAnswer/PayPal combine, which like the agricultural machine is set up to harvest your money.

#1 UPDATE Employee

Every internet grifter refunds after the BBB is notified

AUTHOR: Cobrafang - ()

This (in addition to membership) assures anyone of a AAA rating  with the BBB, the cons then leverage this worthless rating as if it were meaningful, insulting the 50% of us with above average IQ's.

Funny how a website with thousands of experts has not/can not find an answer for how to stop double billing due to the "rate the expert"  and the "accept the answer" scam,

Nor have they found the answer for how to stop "accidentally" selling everyone a subscription, the 2 major complaints since 2008!

Not 1 alteration has been made in fact they are still blaming the customers  for making the mistake!

I suppose the double billing and continuous inflowsx of cash from subscriptions must really swell the JustAnswer.com account  and all for doing noting  and with no expert  to share the accidental  windfalls!

This is why they use fake experts   who use fake pictures, the most highly rated experts  as BillyJr1961 aka Billy 1961 use fake pictures  from European ads  or even a dog  all against the TOS  as are getting involved in subscriptions for  a customer  a commercial  cuastomer  allegedly as well!  A fake expert home inspector  who needs to ask  how old every unit is, he cant read the data plate on every  unit  nor the serial numbers  nor find the free websites  that provide this data, the biggest of which is a home inspection forum!

Try  reaching Greg Kelsey home inspector!  there are many ads  with many names  but none real!

greg kelsey fake home inspector, another age question lol   and billy called rick and asked to be involved in billing in unlimited subscription,

billy spends an hour telling customer to bypass each limit, all 3  to see if power coming back to board lol bwaa  why not jumper the board? the hi limit terminals are right next to each other on the circuit board! Just more examples of a magazine mechanic familiar only with reading about how to do from actual human being experts that have filled their accepted answer data base! the magazine mechanic cracks me up!

Tell me why would you go bypass the 3 limits in their various locations to test a circuit board or diagnose the limit circuit?

Its completely ignorant, look at him going on and on talking about sticking a pin through 2 wires laid across each other, its just assinine and painful to watch, embarassing actually

Apologies to JustAnswer.com

AUTHOR: ourblueface - (United States of America)

These folks came through with a refund of the fee charged, and I should have been more patient in awaiting an outcome. I believe their web site and interface with PayPal could be improved to avoid such problems, but there is nothing like good customer service to compensate for such deficiencies.
