Civilization customer support is a misnomer.

Support forum reveals that there are many problems with the game crashing.

My problem involved installation.

I tried calling customer support. The tech was rude, seemed confused, and didn't solve the problem.

I tried email. Got a notice that I'd be contacted within 72 hrs. didn't happen.

The best bet is not to buy the game. Apparently there are too many bugs in it, if you can even get it installed.
