I am so shocked that one of K9 Kingdom employees would go so far to defend this company by calling themselves a law enforcement. This is very shameful. Go to the address for K9 Kingdom and find that the company is no longer existing. How stupid is someone to go so far to say that Mr. Torres was excused from all charges when he resigns in the Canon City Prison. Do you all think that enough is enough. You've lied, cheated. and manipulated everyone you have come in contact with, and instead of taking responsibility for your action, all you do is lie. How sad are you? The company is closed, the owners are now in New Mexico trying to salvage all that Mr. Torres has taken and he is incarcerated. You must be crazy or mentally unstable to constantly defend a situation which is obviously a mess. Let it go, move on and walk away with intergrity. John Brogan was begged by Mr. Torres to work for his company, not the other way around. Tell the truth! Find out who is in prison and who is not. 

It is truly a shame that people would hide behind this platform to slam, ahame, and demean a good company without knowing the facts. 

K9kingdom has done nothing to harm me or my dogs in the last 10 months I have been a customer. Everything they have told us has been up front, direct, informative, and helpful. I have refered over ten families and friends to the compant and have heard nothing but good about their treatment. 

I am a law enforcement employee and know about Mr. Torres's past. He has always been forth coming when it comes to his story and all his credentials. He has come a long way from his past and those that choose to harbor on his past are far greater scum that that which they report he ever was. I know for a fact that some of the comments entered on this forum come from excons that Stephen hired and tried to help. One of those being a Kennel Forman who wanted the Garys to lie about his job so that he could defraud the state via a unemployment collection he was making from a previous employeer he was disgruntled with while he was being PAID by K9Kingdom.

John Brogan(ex Kennel Foreman) hides behind a false sense of knighthood when he himself was commiting a crime by defrauding the state of Colorado. Also, he failed to tell those reading his trash that he trains dogs and gaind customers by defaming K9kingdom to gain a customer base for his training business. This is just one of the "concearned" authors of these insidious paragraphs. The Gary's mistake was hiring excons with hidden agendas, ulternative motives, and scams of their own. Mr. Brogan was just one of those felons with a agenda of selfishness.

Stephen was vindicated in El Paso county of any wrong doing and is very much a part of K9kingdom still. The rumors of his demise were greatly exaggerated and all the slanderous comments proven nill. I personally know of the investigation and I am also aware of investigations currently being conducted against some of the people that have filed false reports against K9kingdom, Stephen, and the Gary family. These past few months of false reporting has damaged K9kingdom but the TRUTH always comes out. They have restructured and reshaped and are now even better then before I think. Sometimes a raging fire cause a rebirth of sorts. 

I have reviewed all his certifications along with Mark Manning, and Tia Schafers and have found nothing but validity and expert credentials. K9kingdom has worked hard to be viable and direct. I stand firmly behind K9kingdom, Mark, Tia, Stephen, Alyssa, Bill, Leslie, and the many happy employees that work hard every day for the clients and their dogs. The Humane Society, PACEA(department of Agriculture), El Paso County DAs office, Department of Labor and others have had investigations and have shown no wrong doing. The scrutiny has been relentless but K9kingdom has come out clean every time. What else is there? They stand solid as a good business with a solid agenda to train dogs and make sure all their clients are served.

We support K9kingdom along with many others in our community. I will say that every business has faults. If you have issues with K9kingdom, talk to them. I know for a fact they will listen and will resolve any issues that you may have. Slanderous remarks get nothing accomplished. It is small business that keeps our economy going. If you just don't like someone don't mislead others with your anger. Take in account your actions in the situation that you are commenting on. Peolpe should not throw stones when they are living in glass homes themselves.

We encourage all those reading these reports to revisit K9kingdom and the truth. They are good people and truly a professional dog training business.

I would like to withdraw my pervious support as I have found out that I too have experienced similar dissatisfaction and boot getting what is promised.

I don't feel we have received the training to support the money spent.

If this satisfied customer really wrote their rebuttal, I seriously doubt they read the original report with comprehension. It's okay if you were satisfied with the work k9 kingdom did with your dog, but what about the other customers who were not. I'm not even familiar with you or your dogs, so to make a claim as to who I am is very premature. K9 kingdom does not represent integrity whatsoever. They lie and cheat at any cost, so I wouldnt be surprised if this is actually from one of their workers. If what I'm saying is not true, then I will not reply with other rebuttal, but if you a research what I am saying, then you will find out who's lying. Steven Torres is currently sitting in the El Paso County Jail with no bond, while being charge with.fraud from k9 kingdom while in the halfway house. Steven Torres wife and her family owns k9 kingdom after Steven met his wife as a prison pen pal and married her when he was released from prison. Go research, The so called certification k9 kingdom claims Steven has and the company is affiliated with, and you will find that it does not exist. Ask the staff to provide you with legit documentation proving they are certified to train dogs for anything outside of basic training, and basic servicee work. I know of 3 trainers there who are actually certified with the department of labor from prison, but everyone else are not properly trained, including the owners themselves. Yes, Steven gave some people a chance, but the cost was on his term. He has sexual relations with his female employees and anyone who confronts him with this either lose their job or quit. It's easy to take one customer opinion about this situation into consideration, but even this person don't know the background behind those closed metal doors when she leave her dogs into the care of a company based on a con man, and his interest to defraud a family, society, and the welfare of animals. It's a reason why he is behind bars, not for his past mistakes, but his current ones. I also changed my life after incarceration, he should have done the same.

The person who wrote the original ripoff report is a disgruntled employee who quit on her own terms.

The fact is, the report is vague, circumstantial and hearsay, not to mention poorly written.  There is no claim to the ripoff and no specific evidence of dishonesty.

I am a very pleased customer who is satisfied with the service me and my dogs have recieved from the K9 Kingdom family.

I am sorry that this person has caused Mr. Torres more than unfair treatment and undue stress, both in his business and personal life. 

The truth is, Mr. Torres LOVES both dogs and people and has built a business on this passion.  He is energetic, compassionate and extremely organized and detailed- providing top notch care to the dogs training.

I know that this will pass; the family at K9 is stronger than a pissed off former employee without any evidence of foul business practices.

Furthermore, Mr. Torres, regardless of his past dealings with the law, has learned from his mistakes and is a man of integrity, honor and does what he says he will and sincerely cares for your pet(s) in his care.

I highly recommend Mr. Torres as a dog trainer, business owner, community member and person for which you can trust to train your dog(s) in a human e fashion.

I wish K9 Kingdom strength, patience and endurance during this time of struggle.
