Kanes Furniture Ripoff Tax Credit New Port Richey Florida

A couple of months ago I purchased to automated recliners from Kanes Furntiture in New Port Richey Florida.  The warranty was great and my mother who just had a stroke and my aunt who was crippled from a head on collision with a drunk driver 30 years ago loved the chairs.  We were told if we got a prescription for the chairs from the doctor we would get a tax credit.

My mother had her name on both chairs as she purchased them.  When we got a prescription from the doctor, Kanes would only refund the taxes because my mothers name was on the purchase order and not my aunts.  Of course we weren't told about this detail at the time.  After reviewing the case with corporate they still decised not to refund the money even though it wasn't our faulth.  

This wasn't the only problem with Kanes, but was enough for me to write this complaint.  I don't understand how a company doesnt take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right with customers especially when they spend over $1000.  Hopefully this story will do some good and change their corporate policies.
