My brother referred me to KARZ. I was helped by Mr Gaines who is a very nice guy. I currently have a 05 Pontiac Grand AM which i've only had for 5 months. In those 5 months this is what I have been through with this company. First about 3 days after getting the car the motor mount had to be replaced they claimed they would take car of this since I hadn't had the car for that long. But, for some odd reason I had to pay almost $300 in repairs which thet split up between my payments. Then one monthmy insurance was 6 days past due and, they repossed the car. Now with any company you get a grace period right? Ummmm NO not with these crooks! I called talked to Mr. Gaines he informed me to go pay my insurance and, bring the copy of the receipt and, I could get the car back. I do just that....get to the car lot and, Claudia (The Office Manager) tells me I need to make 3 insurance payments before I could get the car. At this point im beyond pissed! So, me and, her had some choice words and, then I asked to speak to Mr. Gaines when he showed up he let her know that he did inform me to make the one payment and, bring my receipt. So, after she couldn't get any more money out of me that way she went to say I had to make my payment that wasn't due until the next day before I could get the car back.
After 3 hours trying to get more money to make the payment because, I didnt't get paid until the next day. They made me pay repo fees, repairs, and a payment which added up tp be $305. Now, yesterday 3-19-14 I receive a call from some woman at Karz telling me PLS called them stating that my insurance was cancelled on the 14th! My first thought was here they go again with this BS!!!! After that first HORRIBLE NIGHT MARE I pay my insurance on time! I tell her she is mistaking. She tells me to call PLS and, have them fax over my receipt. Mind you I work 2 jobs a hotel 11pm to 7am and, StateFarm 10am to 6:30pm so , I was at work when I received this call. I had to stop working to try to get to the bottom of this. Come to find out PLS does not even call them when your insurance cancels or other wise KARZ calls PLS to see who they can screw next! I spoke to several PLS employees that informed me that my account was active and, that they never called KARZ. I call KARZ back to inform them of this info only to still be told to have a copy faxed to them. Now this morning on 3-20-2014 I receive a call about my payment being past due it was due on weds. today is thursday and, im at work again getting harrased by these people.I told the woman I was at work and, would call her back what does she do call me right back. Now, mind you I informed them last month that I have been put on full time at my day job and, wouldnt be able to come until saturday, which I was told that was fine. So, why or they calling me like its been a week or two. This place is a hot mess and, after reading these reviews if they try to screw over me before I get this car paid off I will be getting a lawyer!!!!!!!!
