Our company purchased Kaspersky Pure 3.0 on 29 June 2013 for $85.45 (download, backup disk and extended download). We install and it ran fine for about a week. Then one morning Kaspersky gave the message that all databases were corrupted and it relayed us to their website for a repair procedure, we followed the process step by step, this did not help.  We emailed customer support numerious times with them responding in 24 to 28 hours which in my openion is totaly unacceptable. Chat was not an option as noone was there, apparently while I was awake they were sleeping and while they were sleeping I was awake. I advised them that i did not have time to set here and try to fix problems with their software and asked if they could do a remote and fix the problem, they did not respond.  By then the disk had arrived, so we uninstalled Kaspersky Pure 3.0 and reinstalled with the disk. The next day Kaspersky Pure 3.0 gave an error message and suggested that we download "getsysteminfo" and run it. We did and emailed the report as per their request through their website as well as their FTP site. I thought at that ime we would have a solution, but it was some 26 hours later when Kaspersky sent an email with a list og generic questions (none of which applied) about the problem. I was floored, I had done everyting that they had requested, but apparently they did not or did not want to look at the report.   We then tried to contact Kaspersky via CHAT but got the message that they were not avialable. By now we are done with Kaspersky, so we uninstalled it and installed another program (which has been running like a sewing machine). We then contacted Kaspersky about a refund on 2 August 2013. They responded on 3 August 2013 with the following message:" Thank you for contacting Kaspersky Lab online store.  We have received your request for a refund on order number 10001279231  Please accept our apologies; Kaspersky Lab online store provides  aperiod of 30 days for evaluation of most products. After 30 days the  refund period ends and is strictly enforced. This is outlined in our  refund policy located at:  http://kaspersky.digitalriver.com/store/kasperus/en_US/displayReturnAndCancellationsPage   We apologize for the   inconvenience.   Sincerely Michael Joe Vincent M., Kaspersky Lab online store,Customer Service.   Kaspersky Pure might be a good product but I will never know as I could not get it to run long eneough. If you think that you might need CHAT or SUPPORT, then don't buy Kaspersky. Kaspersky online chat is readly available. We purchased this proudct outright we did not use the trial version and we were over thirty days, but half of that period it wasn't working or we were waiting on them to respond. They are masters at deception and delay tactics. This bit of education cost us $85.45
