 I was 19 and a single parent of my daughter who was 1 and I was also pregnant at this time last year. Looking for a job to support my children to the best I could, I was desperate. So I went on indeed.com and there was an ad about a "customer service" job for $2200 a month, so I applied and within that week I got a call for my interview. When I went in I met with a girl named dani she barely interviewed me but I let her know I was pregnant and how far along I was and she said they knew at some point I would have to take a little time off and that would be okay. Then she asked me if $2,200 would pay my bills a month, we'll being a single mom I thought this was a blessing.... NOT. I went in for training and she pulls out a vacuum and starts showing me how to take it apart and put it together and what I should say and this and that, I was confused and needed the money so I just went with it. I learned the machine inside and out and all the awesome things that could be done with it. I thought I had found something I could believe in. So I gave it my all going into stranger homes and showing them the Kirby Sentria 2. However it was quite heavy for a PREGNANT girl to be carrying..well when you first start at kirby they give you these "bonuses" if you sell one while you're just practicing well the prize for selling one was $200 and I desperately needed to make my car payment so I sell one and get my bonus. then on my first night I didn't get home until 2AM!!!!!!! and it continued on like that for about a week, we'll finally payday comes along and I don't even get paid they said in order to get paid you need to have 24 apps in 2 weeks and 48 a month (which was NEVER explained) so I thought maybe I just didn't understand. Then they purposed we go down south to Antler, ok it was suppose to be a 3 day thing that ended up lasting a month.... and I only got to see my daughter 3 times because I wasn't allowed to bring my vehicle on a business trip. I was only getting 3 hours of sleep because at the end of the night when we would all get in it was to the bar to celebrate, then go back to the room and try avoid the pot smoke clouds from the boss and the rest of the guys. While down there I didn't get paid again because I didn't keep a record which they never told me to do they said our team leader would keep track well mine didn't so I was screwed again. I started keeping track and I was the only person to get my $2,200 guarantee from the Boyds because once I kept track they HAD TO PAY ME. then we set up a deal for a free kirby and what that meant was that I would sell the Kirby and whatever it sold for I would get that amount through out the month (they thought they would save money that way....WRONG) I could sell the crap out of A Kirby. So my deal sold for $1688 credit card so I got paid the full amount (or I was suppose to) we set it up weekly that I would get paid $400 and something a week for that month. I only got 2 weeks worth of that because while selling the machines, they sent me into a house with people who had the flu and failed to mention it to me...they wouldn't stop to give me any water or anything then finally after missing my daughters 2nd birthday were finally coming home and I was happy because I had money to buy her presents with but I ended up in the hospital I was severally dehydrated and had the flu at 25 weeks pregnant. Then I get a text from Matt boyd saying if you're not back by Monday (2 days later) we won't be paying you. And they didn't because I was sick with the flu because of them. I was dehydrated because of them and I was officially done. I cut my ties from them and never looked back. They are a JOKE !!!!! I had to sleep on the flora at the hotels because they didn't have enough beds and I wouldn't sleep next to the bosses son. Kirby has a bad rep for distributors like MATTHEW BOYD. and I hope Karma catches up with him.
