We went down to Kearney Mesa Hyundai to trade in our car. They put us in a car and assured us that everything would be taken care of. We waited for hours with our two rumbuncious kids, just to sign the paperwork.

When we finally got to sign the papers, the finance manager was not clear cut about exactly what we needed to close the deal. So, two weeks later they called us in to sign a new contract on a Thursday and we live half an hour away. They said over the phone that they can get us in and out in ten minutes, but we still had to wait a lot longer.

We gave her what she asked for such as proof of income, but then she turns around and tells us that they need something else instead, which she did not specify the first time. We specifically asked and wrote down in front of her what she was asking us to fax in.

So we faxed the paperwork she was asking from us on that Saturday. Then on Monday, they rudely called my wife demanding her to send the paperwork, my wife told her that we already sent in the paperwork and there was nothing that we could do right now sense I was at work.

So, the finance manager then calls me at work, harassing me. I told her that I had already sent the faxes and that I have proof. She said rudely, "Whatever the case is, we didn't get it." So on my lunch break I sent it again, spending my own money, spending my own time.

So, thinking that everything was taken care of, they called us on Wednesday, saying that they have been trying to get a hold of us all week. But we never received a call until Wednesday.

So, my wife returned her call right away, and the finance manager was extremely rude and harassed my wife about the information that we gave her, saying that it wasn't enough information. My wife specified to her, that this is all you asked us for. But she was so angry and rude, my wife could hardly get a word in. At the time I was at work.

When I came home I called the manager, he told me that they needed more information. I expressed to him, that this is all the information she asked for. He was basically arrogant and prideful saying straight out, "I want the car back!"

Without giving the only reason they can take the car back. So, I was angry and frustrated, so I called the main office and complained about the company. The Hyundai main office got the dealership to give me one more day to get the information that they should have told me in the first place that they wanted.

Therefore, once more I went down and faxed more papers, I called them up and they said they received them. So, I started heading home, during rush hour traffic and my wife gets a phone call, it was the finance manager saying that she needed more information faxed to her.

My wife made sure to write down everything that she had specified, my wife kept making sure this is what she in fact wanted. The finance manager turns around in half-hour calls my wife back and says "the manager just wants the car back," meaning her boss.

So, my wife kept talking to her about how that doesn't make any sense, how can she ask for more information that supposedly she needs for the finance company to approve the loan, then turn around half an hour later just wanting the car back for no reason.

She assumed that my wife was with me, and that we could just turn around and bring the car back to the dealership. My wife told her not to call me, because I was driving and needed to make it home safely, especially because it was raining.
When I got home, my wife was still on the phone with LuLu, she was trying to make sense of it all. She told her that they just what the car back without giving us a clear reason under the contact that we signed.

So, my wife being upset, I took the phone and LuLu rudely told me that she never told my wife that she asked for more information, basically calling my wife a lier. They demanded the car back without out telling me that my loan did not get approved.

So, I was forced to return the car and we talked to the General manager, showing him proof that we had sent the fax on Saturday and that if they received it, I would have fixed everything on Monday, and kept the car.

Now, sense they they had our old car for three weeks and we trusted that this deal would fall through and that all of our time, money and frustration would pay off. Therefore, we didn't continue to pay our old car payment.

We recently found out that when our old car was at the dealership, the manager had admitted that our old finance company demanded the car back from them. He knew before we returned the new car and didn't say a word to us about it and didn't care that we would lose both cars.

Therefore, because of their unclear, rude and selfish actions, my famliy has to suffer more. We should have never trusted them. All those rumors I hear about how car dealerships only care about the profit and not the people, this dealership lives up to all those bad rumors. 

I don't care how they may justify their actions with us. Or acted as if they are doing me a favor. Without customers buying their cars, they would not even have a job. They should have never made promises that they had no intention of keeping. Forcing me to run around faxing papers when they already had their minds made up. Wasting my time just to lose both of my cars in the end.

We will not recommend this company to anyone, especially those who are in a economic hardship. I wish I never would have went there and I will never go back. I could have saved myself and my family the frustration, time and money, if I would have went to Carmax instead.
