dealing with the wrecker company. The officer involved said he called a wrecker and told my son he can take the truck to anywhere he wants. When the police officer stepped away the wrecker driver told my son the truck had to go to the pound. The wrecker driver also proceeded to say the insurance will pay for all the fees. That is just another way to rake up the charges. When the officer returned he asked the wrecker driver for the address of where the truck would be going so he could put on the report. The officer didn't realize that the wrecker driver told my son that the truck had to go to the pound.
When I went to pick up the truck I was charged over $300.00. The actual towing fee was $165.00. The other charges were for daily rate, storage, impound fee and notification fee. The $60.00 notification fee.  This fee is to mail me a notification. Why would you mail me something when I notified them first. I'm so tired of companies telling lies to rack up their charges.
