Ken Froom Tours Ken Froom Promises.........Then, Bait and Switch Jupiter Florida

Ken from Ken Froom Tours has been offering complete comps for casinos on land and casinos on water (cruises) for the past several years.  When I finally decided to take him up on it, I called his office and spoke with April D., KFT#175807.  I mentioned a Celebrity cruise to South America and they reviewed my play and offered to comp me 100% for the cruise.  I specifically asked if they would guarantee this since I had to purchase non-refundable flight tickets.  My comp was confirmed, in writing, by email.  The only cost to me would be for taxes and port fees.  Then, I purchased Business Class, non-refundable flight tickets to South America and excited for my upcoming flights and cruise. Then, I get an email from Ken Froom Tours saying they cannot comp me for the cruise.  The best they could offer me is $700.  I was incensed at hearing this especially after they guaranteed the comp for my wife and I and now I had non-refundable, Business Class flight tickets to South America.  This was the classic "bait and switch" and I am certain they knew this from the start.  I certainly do NOT do business this way.  I immediately called Celebrity Cruses and told them my situation.  Before Celebrity would talk to me, I had to get Ken Froom Tours to release my booking and re-assign the booking back to Celebrity Cruises.  Once this was done, Celebrity Cruises forwarded my booking to their Blue Chip Group and the best they could offer me was a $700 credit toward the cost of the cruise.  The cruise was now costing me in excess of $6,000 instead of $0.  I strongly recommend that no one does business with Ken Froom Tours. Lesson learned the hard way.
