My husband and I, chose this company, because it is big. We figured that a company this big, would help us get out of a deal we had made a year and a half earlier, with a small dealership that had gone out of business, before our 22% interest was supposedly to drop significantly after perfect 12 month payments.

We just had to get out of that interest. We were told over and over, that we must trade in our cAr and let a dealership refinance us under a different car.

We explained our need to not only lower our interest, but that our budget was very tight and we would prefer to lower our $270 a month payment if we can. We expressed our distrust of small dealerships and asked that he; Russ; please help us to find a cheap used car that is, of course, reliable and gas efficent.

Russ, assured us that he would help us to acheive those things.

He explained, that if we bought a new car, a bank would be more willing to lower the interest to no more than 16%. That if we paid on time for 12 months, we could come trade in that new car, and drive away with a much lower interest and a much cheaper car that we would then keep. He then chose a car that would suit our needs and offered to write up the paper work, and allow us to take the car and the paperwork, check it out with friends or whomever and bring it back and nullify the deal if we didn't like it, within 7 days.

We understood that there was no harm in doing that, yet after two days when we brought it back and said "No, this doesn't work for us" The manager, Dave, said he'd make the deal sweeter.

He then took $6,000 off the total price, but my husband told him that it still wasn't what we were looking for. Dave then told us we had signed the papers and there was NOTHING we could do about it. Regardless of the "VERBAL" deal we had made. He threatened to keep the price at the $25,500 or would we like to take the $6,000 off deal? He gave us the count of 3 to decide, and then stormed out of the paperwork guys office with anger.

I complained to everyone I encountered while there. The paper guy just gave a smile and said he knew nothing about it. We called the VP of marketing, which is also a part owner. My husband gave a quick explanation of our delema, which resulted in a phone call from head of management one hour later. This man said he'd fully resolve our problem, give him a few days to find the right car for us.

We tried every single day to reach this man with no return phone call for 3-4 weeks. He finally called with excuses like, the car I had for you was stolen off the lot, bla bla. He sets an appointment to resolve the matter once and for all, and unbelievably, without callin g to cancel, he just leaves a note saying he had scuba diving class....sorry.

This BS went on for another 2 weeks, when this man found us "The DEAL WE"VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" My hubby brings home another EXACTLY WHAT WE DIDN'T WANT, priced way over AND somehow the INTEREST ON IT IS NOW ABOVE OUR ORIGINAL CAR THAT WE WERE TRYING TO GFET OUT OF! 23%!!!! Nothing they can or will do. That's the final deal or else we will be leagally obliged to keep the first "unagreement". And regardless of fault, it has taken so long to finalize a deal, that we could be in REAL legal trouble.

They have been truly rotten to work with. I will pass this information to everyone I know, and will continue to find a way for justice. Do not lie to me and sucker me into something I never wanted and expect to get away with it! Abuse of power over the average consumer is untolerable.
