Ken Torino from Vermont is a liar and tells people his crappy K-Tor hand crank generator will charge their phone and Ipods. Don't believe this scam artist. The piece of crap will actually damage your phone after a few uses. His product was tested at Princeton University and the results were rediculous. The k-tor does not put out anywhere near the advertised power and he knows it. Most of them are defective from the factory and he has to repair the piece of crap before he can sell them. Do not buy his product unless you want to be ripped off. Ken Torino is a sarcastic arrogant scam artist who is out for a quick buck. The new pedal power unit he sells was delayed 5 times for technical problems before he finally decided to sell it anyway. He had too much money invested in the unit to scrap it, so he decided to offload the piece of rubbish on you. It has no where near the advertised power. Buyer beware of this crook and his b******* products.

How could you not take such an eloquent, educated, and obviously well-informed complaint seriously?  If the sarcasm of that statement is not evident, let me come right out and say that it's inferred.  The complaint might have been slightly believable if the complainer had possessed even an inkling of knowledge about electrical theory.  For example, how may volts does it take to chrge your telephone's battery?  How many milliamps?  How many volts or milliamps are generated by the K-Tor product?  Does it have a voltage regulator?  More likely, this boy destroyed his own telephone, then tried to scam K-Tor for a new one.  Such BS calls the integrity of this site into question, doesn't it?  amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=len+mcdougall consumersdigest.com/print/article/eye-openers brownells.com/GunTech/Food-For-Thought/detail.htm?lid=16735 target.com/p/modern-lumberjacking-paperback/-/A-50548532 walmart.com/ip/The-Ultimate-Sh-t-Hits-the-Fan-Survival-Guide-How-to-Live-Through-Any-Catastrophe/53827645

This report is incorrect. It has no basis in fact. We have done extensive testing and our products do what we claim and advertise. There are further no cases of our products ever damaging a product and they can not do so by design. This person whomever they are has never contacted us and we are unaware of the basis of his claims. We stand behind our product and offer a money back guarantee. Sincerely Ken
