Just a heads up to all my fellow BA's here.... DO NOT WORK FOR KIYANA WELSH Ki Events Atlanta Event Staffing IF OFFERED A JOB!!
I worked a barbacking gig for this Kiyana Welsh of Ki Events Atlanta Event Staffing character and was promised to be paid tips + $75 in cash at the end of my shift. I worked from 3pm-10pm and with thousands of people hitting up the bar because this was a beer and wine festival the 4 tip jars at all 4 corners of the main bar I was working at were to be split evenly between myself another barback and the 4 bartenders... The staff she hired as bartenders were rude and extra bossy but neither here nor there... When I finished my shift which went until almost 11pm and I stayed without fussing about it I were compensated a measly $15 and was told that they had only made $100 in tips... Another guy working with me (not going to mention his name out of respect) was clearly also not happy and kicked over a garbage can and trash went flying everywhere. This had NOTHING to do with me but she is telling me that she's not going to pay me because of what he did...?
This lady has been ducking my calls, texts, emails for two weeks now and when I finally got a text back I was told there were damages caused by the OTHER GUY and until she finds out from the main client the amount in damages caused by THE OTHER GUY that she will not be paying ME ....so how does that make sense that I won't be paid for another mans actions... and not to mention how much in damages can be caused by kicking a garbage can? was that garbage can made of glass???? SMH
Just want to wrap this up and publicly say that KIYANA WELSH is a THEIF, A SCAM ARTIST very very unprofessional LITTLE GIRL who does NOT know how to nor should NOT be running a business. I warn you ALL not to work for this scam artist who pockets her employees money. Once again.... DO NOT WORK FOR KIYANA WELSH or Ki Events Atlanta Event Staffing IF OFFERED A JOB BECAUSE SHE IS A STRAIGHT SNAKE!!!!!

This little girl trying to run and manage a company that has been talked about all over the city of Atlanta as a joke and multiple people who haven't been paid.. yes for a "mere" $75 I filed this report because it's not the little money kiana tried to rip me off of it's the principal and we all know principal wins over dollar amounts every time. This girl is a con artist full of attitude and completely unprofessional handling her business like a slop. I did get paid in the end but it took threats of court and her telling me if I reached out again she'd call the police for harassment 30 days after she was "investigating" who kicked over a garbage can and cause $75 worth of damage! This b***h trying to sound intelligent having her student special ed teacher proof read and edit her dumb a*s lie of a rebutle stop it now! These mfs Inc atlanta I tell y'all! Look out smh!!!

Because of the inflammatory nature of this individual's comments against my company, I have chosen to respond to this matter so that my former and future clients would have an accurate account of the incident.
Let me begin by establishing the relationship of this individual and Ki Events. We only contracted him one time for an event. The amount owed to him was merely $75.00.
The delay in paying him was due to establishing culpability of my staff concerning the incident that he expressed. Once we discovered that this person did not cause damages, he was immediately compensated for his service.
All of this was told to him while we were investigating and before he made this post.
This does not reflect the standard of my organization. In addition, I did not have before, nor after, any issues.
So now, I will take my mother's advice to "consider the source and forget it".
