Kid to Kid Layton Unethical behavior by Century Link Layton Utah

Recently I switched to Comcast because CenturyLink has been promising me DSL for my business for 9 years and never provided it. 3 years ago, I contacted CenturyLink to discuss my bill and asked if there was any way to reduce it from $119 a month for 2 lines. I was told they could reduce it to under $100 if I agreed to a 3 year contract. I did not sign anything and my bill actually went up to $129 per month during the next 2 years and 10 months. When I switched to Comcast I got a bill from CenturyLink for $600 early termination charges. When I called they blew me off and said it did not matter that I had not gained from the contract (actually increased by $10 a month) nor that I didn't sign anything because I paid my bill. It appears I have no recourse but just thought I would post this as a way of venting
