Kings Creek Plantation uses decepteptive practices to get you into their office. The person calling you promises you one thing as a gift and what you get is half of what was promised.
I was told on the phone I would receive a $100 gas CARD and 2 airline tickets plus 2 nights 3 days to one of about 30 destinations. I was skeptical about this so I asked the caller what are the fees or what do you have to pay for this. He said you have to pay NOTHING. You pay zero out of pocket he said and we will give you a gas card because this is last minute.
The day after talking to him someone called to make sure I was coming and she reiterated I would receive a gas CARD and 2 tickets and hotel stay and would have to pay NOTHING.
Well needless to say I went and sat through their spiel and lo and behold what did I get a voucher to redeem $100 worth of gas from certain gas stations to which I can only receive $10 a month worth of gas. It is not a gas card but a rebate.
As for the airline tickets well I'm sure you have guessed by now that is also a scam. You have to pay outrageous fees in order to even book the vacation and then some more when you go on your trip. They lie lie lie. They say whatever is necessary to bring you in and then send you on your way with gifts that do not match up with what was promised.
After I returned home and researched the company I see they rip people off left and right so this is not surprising. I am just thankful that I did not sign up for a timeshare.
BEWARE be very AWARE. They are scammers.

Hello I have received inregards the same information, not only I get $100.00 dining and 3 choices of rountrip airlines, and cruse, hotels etc. After reading your complaints nada oh hell nooooo. They need to se sued...

King’s Creek Plantation Resort enjoys many positive reviews due to an excellent location, a beautiful property and a variety of accommodations. Your experience sounds like a rare and unfortunate exception for which we sincerely apologize.
Even though many of these great vacation packages allow Guests to explore the possibility of Ownership at King’s Creek, they are often offered by vendors outside of King’s Creek. You can be assured we strive to manage and maintain a standard of integrity and service, even when a package is sold by an outside source. Therefore, if any Guest accepts the terms of a “special preview tour package” and then finds that promises to them have not been met, we are interested to learn of the matter and to make any necessary adjustments.
