We hired Kirill to redo our kitchen and refinish hardwood floors and reinstall new hardwood floors in some rooms. Long story short we had to redo the floors again after Kirill did them . One day I came home to find all the liquor in my bar is gone, empty bottle of my whisky, tequila all over the floor - this was Kirill's guys. He apologized and got a new person to do the floors. This new person pretty much came with 2 kids and just nailed the hardwood to the floors, in some places the floor is not level. Most places the stain came off.
He completely skipped the polyurethan coat in a room and we had no idea. As soon as my son spilled some juice on it, it stained the floor because Kirill did not put polyurethane coat on it. I found out later that the standard practice is to put 2-3 coats of Poly. Now for the kitchen. He disappeared for a month leaving the kitchen incomplete. Came back and finished the rest. Come winter we found out he left gaping holes where the wall meets the floor (this was behing the cabinets so we would not see it.
The cold air came in from the outside through these holes and froze our pipes which eventually burst when they thawed out. There are numerous other examples where he screwed up which I don't have the energy to type. Do not hire this guy ever. He is a cheat and just generally a bad human being. Google his name and you will find he has been arrested in 2009 for forging a liability insurance certificate. Here is the news article from northjersey.com :

Authorities arrested a self-employed Fort Lee carpenter on a forgery charge for altering his liability insurance, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said today.
Kirill Napreev, 37, allegedly changed his certificate of insurance to say it was still valid when it expired almost two years ago, according to the prosecutor’s office. He also altered the document to say it included worker’s compensation coverage, which was never included in the original policy, officials said.
Napreev, who is married, was arrested at 11 a.m. yesterday and released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday"
