Please be aware he has so many disgruntled customers that he just created two new names for the business called Cabinets Direct Inc. & RTA-Cabinets, same address, in Georgetown opened on March 2010.
In April 2010, I signed a contract with Cabinets Direct Design owner Frank LaMark located at 367 Georgetown Square Wood Dale, IL 60191 1-800-531-0290 for RTA which means Ready to Assemble Cabinets for my Kitchen. I was told these cabinets are ready to go, in stock and I would have them delivered to my home free of charge in a week.
It is now June 10,2010 and I still do not have my order completed and I am stuck with a kitchen that is unusable, no counter tops can be installed, no sink, no dishwasher nothing all because this man gives you nothing but the run around about why your cabinets have not arrived...that is at first when he answers your calls. Later you can call and call and call and call and leave message after message and email after email and he will NEVER return your calls or messages.
He will give you story after story. Give you fake FED EX tracking numbers for your shipment that never move or are never sent even months later. He will tell you that the order will be FED EX shipped quickly because there are problems and then nothing will happen. You will call him and leave messages and he will tell you he will check on it and get back to you later which he never does. He will tell you it is his vendors fault and he will call them and he never does. Lather, Rinse and repeat and you get the picture. He will also promise you credit on your card for the obvious inconvenience which he also never gives.
Oh and the free shipping...ha...the portion of the order you are lucky enough to get, you're going to have to go pick that up yourself my friend and I hope you own a van otherwise your SOL. Now don't forget once you open the few boxes you were lucky enough to get, the full overlay doors that were advertised, not full overlay, not even close. That top quality cabinet finish promised...not even close. There are dents, runs, black marks under the varnish, black pebbles under the varnish etc. on the faces of the cabinets. Again, the ones out of your order that you are lucky enough to get, and that you have to pick up yourself if you ever want to see even a small portion of your order at all.
This will prompt you to look up his company to see if others are sharing your problem and lo and behold he JUST changed the name of his companies in March 2010 and he advertises heavily on GOOGLE and in EVERY STATE in the US!!! The reason he changed his companies name, because there are so many reports of exactly the same situation about him on the web that no one in their right mind would buy from him after reading them! One poor man has been going through this for TWO YEARS!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! DON'T WALK, RUN!!!

This review has come to my attention recently and I wanted to address it personalty. The customer placed an order for Wheaton Cabinets which are a white painted cabinet. The manufacture defects that the customer addresses where 100% covered by the manufacture and were Fed Exed at no extra charge to the customer or Cabinets Direct. We are the retailer and pass all freight info the distributor sends us to the customer. The info the manufacture sent us was incorrect. We understand this, since they service thousands of orders a month there is a margin of error.We understand the frustration with the customer being without there kitchen and did expedite the warranty claim with the manufacture on the customers behalf.
To address the damaged pieces. I personally drove from our Chicago Warehouse to Indiana to hand deliver the damaged pieces since the customer expressed the urgency of there project. I take customer service very seriously and will continue to do this.
To my knowledge the customer has received all there pieces including the warranty pieces and there kitchen remodel is complete.
As the customer states we have NOT changed our name at all. Cabinets Direct has been in business since 2010 and continues to operate to this day. Since then we have serviced over 2,000 customers in the USA and in Canada. We do hold a dominate presence on the internet and do sell to hundreds of customers every month.
Again we at Cabinets Direct take customer service and our products very seriously. So seriously we back all of our products with a 30 day money back guarantee. Since 2010 we have not had one customer return a kitchen cabinet purchase back to us.
