....Stay away from this company advertising on TV advertising as Kitty Carousel it has now changed the advertisement name to Cat's Meow. I'm surely have changed their name because my Norton 360 Virus Protection will not let me go on the old site. Norton 360 is showing that this connection is untrusted there is a problem with connection security. So not only are they a rip-off but they could also be a problem with a virus or Malware. Same company same rip-off possibly same Virus or malware!!!!

When you go online the first thing they do is have you put in all your credit card information I should have thought something was fishy then. Once they have that they have you order. They offer buy one get one free if you pay shipping and handling on the second item. They offer extras to be added onto this toy. Once they get all the information for your order they do not give you a total until after you put your order in. I ordered 2 of this toy that approximately came to $35.97. They doubled the order I did not include the extras.

After i was finished the total bill came to $117.50. When I tried to call the dispute line the lines were busy they could not put me through I tried this number almost 20 times at all hours of the day. I emailed the company several times and they always bounce back as being undeliverable. Once the item arrived I called and after being on hold for almost 30 minutes they told me I could return the items and they would give me $15.98 back. Their shipping and handling total came to $31.97.

So I would have to I would have to pay postage to return the items and I would only receive half of the postage and handling this does not include the $40.00 charged for the items. They really know how to play this scam because they do not give you a receipt until the end when they have doubled your order and have overcharged. I went to my credit card company and they said they were be a problem because I did not have receipt for my initial purchase which was more than half of what they charge me. Now I have to write a letter to my credit card company to have these charge taken off. Stay away or you will be a victim too.

Website misdirection

When you order from the cat's meow website, a number of confusing "do you want to order" pages display, some of which appear to mimic your original order, but actually are for new, different, or additional items.  There is no review of the final order, and you are presented with an amount much larger than what you planned on.  I thought my order would be about $35, but instead it came to $95.  Not only that, but since I ordered on a Saturday, their "live order" really meant that if I want to talk to someone about their deceptive website, I'll have to do it Monday.

  I also had a similar experience. I find it strange how all our charges were different . Mine were $107.07 when it should have been $35.89. I only wanted one set for one cat . I had two charges  one for $71.78. The other for the correct $35.89. This happened on a Sunday so I called the next morning. and asked them to void the $71.78. They told me I had to wait for them to arrive , although they hadnt been shipped yet,  write refuse on the box and they would refund my money. The toys weresupposed to arrive today but have not.

I also have experienced the same rip off.  My report is included below:

Through this special offer, you get Cat's MeowTM for only
$19.99 plus $7.99 P&H. BUT WAIT, now you can buy one, get one FREE! Just pay
an additional $7.99 P&H.

After accepting one additional upgrade which was listed as an additional $5.00 per unit  I was charged $29.99 per unit and shipping of $15.90 per unit for a total of $91.78.

According to my calculations I should have been charged $24.99 per unit and $7.99 shipping per unit for a total of $45.96.  You do not get a chance to see the total charges until the order has been processed.

You cannot speak with anyone about the order except Monday through Friday and since I placed the order on a Saturday, I suspect they will claim to have shipped the items when I do contact them on Monday.

This will be disputed by my Credit Card Company when I see the charges on my Credit Card.

I have had a similar experience with this company. Wanted two items for about $38.00 dollars . On the walk through site my order ended up to be $138.56. Called customer support right away and they could not help me because order had not been in system for 4 hours yet. Called next day and was to late as order had shipped. Buyer beware. Have cancelled credit card and will dispute charges. Was told by customer support I could send package back for credit of course minus the very high shipping charges of $63.60. What a joke. I'm suprised the state of Conneticut lets these people operate there.
