Kmart Deceptive credit card charges Internet

When buying from Kmart online, especially when items get backordered,I highly sugest checking over the invoice and your bank statement. My wife has ordered from them before many a times and this problem if it had happened once, would hav excused it as an accident, but unfortunatelyhappened at Christmas too and unfortunately too late to do a chargeback from then.

The only reason I had cought on to this was because there were only 2 items backordered yet the invoice shipped was a whole complete reorder but only the 2 backordered items shipped. When I saw the amount, checked the bank statement and saw the double charge.

Representative kept stating everything on the invoice wasin fact shipped. The box,containing 2 toddler outfits was sized 1 foot length by 10 inches width and 6inches deep, and the invoice stated 22 items shipped. Brought the invoice with trace, box with trace to my bank withthe two back ordered items that was shipped in it, and they noted when they did the chargeback that there was no way possible to fit what Kmart had stated was 22 items. Its understandable, if items get backordered and then shipped to charge for those two items plus shipping, but to charge not only for the 2 items shipped plus the entire order is definatel mail order fraud and credit card fraud and banks will not tolerate this. Most banks will charge back the entire amount.

Anyway, if you have ordered items from them, and a few things got backordered, check your bank statement and invoice. Chances are, you will have been charged twice plus the back ordered items.
