Knight Refridgerated Knight Transportation, Knight Port and Rail Advertising and Recruiter said I would be Paid a Sign ON of $1,000 and Transition Pay of $975 and Did not Pay me anything, for going and doing the orientation, DOT Medical Exam and Drive Test Phoenix Arizona - Idaho Falls, Idaho Terminal Nationwide

I had been solicited through email, and phone calls stating that I would receive a Sign on Bonus and Transition Pay for attending an orientation for Knight Refridgerated.  I attended this Orientation, and was told to go home and they would provide me with a driver number and get a truck assigned to me.  I did not hear back, so I called in, and left voice mail, I sent Email, and I never had a reply to the email or voicemail.

I then noticed that the phone number on my recruiters email had a Direct Line to contact him.  I called this number to maybe back track and locate the right person to speak to in regards to when I would be getting a truck, and getting on the raod.  The voice mail had a ladies voice on it and I left her a few messages.

I was then under the assumption that the recruiter may no longer be working for the company and they replaced him with quickness.  This turned out to be the case.

This female recruiters called me roughily 2 weeks later, and stated that she was the new recruiter at the number I was calling.

She then discussed with me the issues at hand, and the fact that I never received the pay as per the Advertisment and the Recruiter, and the Location Manager.

She asked if she could work on it and get me paid; would I still be interested in driving for Knight.

I stated I would if she could get it straightened out, however, I would like to get the pay thing situated as I had already waiting several weeks, and no pay.

She said she would get it taken care of and give me an update the following day.

She did not call, so I called and left her voice mail, email, voice mail, and email.

No Response.  It has been now Over a Week since the Last Corispondence.

In all professionalism, if a company is going to place a Recruitment ad, and state that they will pay you these items for attending their orientation then they should pay you, and not waste your time.

When they forget to pay you, they should make it good; especially when you call in, or email in, and remind them that they owe you this money; as you did what they had asked of you.

This even if they have had second thoughts about you working for them, and then decide to move in a different direction.

This company wasted my time, in which i would have been working for another company, on the promise that I would be working for them, and I would be paid for the Orientation.

As a Driver, I would be wary of these companies that state they will pay you, and then do not.
