Knights Inn Not Give you the service we requested. Newport Tennessee

My husband and myself are seniors, we both our disabled. i made reservations with this motel on oct 12th. we arrived at 3:00 am ,drove 8 hours , never been to the Smokeys before, when we arrive at the motel i was greeted  with a desk clerk sheila with a frown on her face, that was for starters.

I specified we need a bottom floor, because we are disabled and had our furr baby with us. tired and exhausted from the trip, needless to find out they stuck us upstairs, room 205. i put a req i needed a bottom floor, there is no call for putting us upstairs when i booked in advance. made it upstairs, 2 flight of stairs, which if i fell or my husband fell their would be a lawsuit. get to our room, refrig doesnt work, we had some sandwiches with us we needed to put in the refrig. never the less the sandwiches spoiled that was $15.00 wasted. no light bulb on my side of the bed to turn on the light over the bed.

Know nothing about wifi, my daughter said you need a password to use that, was never given a password by sheila, so couldn't use mapquest to get around the town. they had coffee and donuts for breakfast was never offered that. and on top of it no refunds on your room.

Next day my daughter called the front desk and told them we reg a bottom floor, and they stuck us up on top and no refri. they never apoligized, they said they would change us, waited and waited no one called or came by to move us. i made reservations for 2 nights,
like i said no refunds.

I have many family and friends that loved the smokeys, so we wanted to go, and sightsee, that was one of my bucket things to do before i passed.

our vacation was ruined, after driving 8 hours, after 2 days we went back home to mobile al.This was a True hole in the wall rooms. They can rest asure I am req all my money back plus transportation of getting there. I will put out the reputation of this place.

Our vacation plans were to stay in tn for a week.
