Koa Restaurant Group, LLC / Jess V. LeDesma Refused to pay wages, had people work for free promising he would pay, embezzled money Los Gatos, California

Jess V Le Desma is not a trust worthy individual.  He promises, and speaks about honesty but does not practice them.  He had me working at all hours of the day, texting me at 10:00pm at night, demanding that work be done by the next morning.  ===> The company sponsored a Golf Tournament and registrants paid via paypal (into his private paypal account) he removed the money from the paypal account (after he promised he wouldn't) and used it to pay other 'unknown bills'.  When it came time to pay the golf course for the tournament, there was $.12 in the paypal account.  The other members of the company had to borrow the $9k from friends at the last minute to cover the money he stole.  ===> On top of that, he called me 3 days after the tournament and told me he was out of money and no longer had any hours for me to work.

 t this point he owed me an entire month of wages ($1500 - I was part-time), plus an additional $250 in personal expenses that I had incurred. He promised to pay me by the end of the week (7/1/11), I consistently contacted him for about 3 weeks after that and only promises, finally he stopped communicating with me.  I couldn't even apply for unemployment because he didn't report my earnings. It is a Federal Crime not to pay wages to employees.  Additionally, he had 3 other people on full-time, he worked them to the bone, took advantage of them, asked them to cover expenses personally and never compensated them for the costs or the milage/wear/tear on their cars.   I later found out that he had done this before.  No one has done anything to stop this man from getting away with taking advantage of them.  This man SHOULD NOT run a business. He is shady, untrustworthy and completely inept of business acumen. No one should trust, or do business with him ever.
