64 years old and Kodak has been the only photographic manufacturer that I've had so far.

I decided to give up film cameras and try digital with a Kodak (of course) Easy-Share (CX model). I was so thrilled with it's performance, I decided to enter the digital world further with the Kodak ESP 5210 home center. This home center has been a nightmare, one right after the other since day 1. Each problem was courtesly handled by Kodak support. (I'n not thrilled that Kodak sent support jobs overseas).

Last year, my CX Easy-share died so I bought a DX7590 that is also awesome and has more space. It downloaded pictures onto my computer without a glitch. October/November last year, my computer died and I had to buy new. The new computer has windows 7 64-bit programming to get used to after years of XP 32-bil but my Kodak had no issues with tne new system  whatsoever (until now). Emailed pictures, Scanned & sent important documents to my Dr. all with no problem until about 2-weeks ago after an update (don't remember if it was Kodak or Microsoft) when I tried to scam anotheer document for my Dr. & Kodak freaked out. Four tech's and over 2-hours of time wasted, the problem isn't fixed or even close to resolve! I was told 2-calls back that my issue was sent to the next level and I would get a phone call from support within 48-hours to resolve the issue. Several 48-hour periods went by so I called again and asked for a supervisor. That request was declined and I was told by this last "clown ' that the problem I was having with Kodak not recognizing my email was a problem with my system, not theirs. I admit to being computer ignorant but I also know that the system that I own/have and am having problems with is my Kodak system that worked fine until all of a sudden it didn't.

Kodak support has gone from being a hero in my head to an unquestionable joke! Right now, I have a good sized chunk of change tied up in Kodak products that don't work as they are supposed to and used to so being low-income on S.S.I. D.I. I feel that I have unjustly been ripped off by Kodak.
