Below i have pasted the complaint i filed with the better business bureau back in February. nothing has happened since then. and the business refuses to give me any information about their insurance, for me to get the money to fix the damage.

Consumer's Original Complaint :

On feb 6th Thom Lundemo came to our house to test our water quality and we signed a contract to puchase a RO system. we alreaddy own a water softener, but where out of salt at that time. once the RO system was put in on the 15th of february the water allready did not taste as good as promised,but we thought it was the missing salt, we went on a short trip over that 4 day weekend and after we got back monday the 18th we finally purchesed some salt for the water softener the following day. Still the water taste did not improve therefor it tasts salty now and that is not what we got promised.The Gentelemen selling us the unit told us that night that if we had any concerns they would take it back 30 days after it was put in the house, which we still would be on time, but when we called for them to take it back we where told that the sale is final and we would have to keep it.I also talked to my neighbour which purchased the same system and she thought hers tasts salty as well, that is the reason i denied the offer of Mr. Lundemo to test our water for free once more. I am absolutely not happy with the purchase and i do not think that it is legal to tell a costumer a sale is final without even trying it out(since i can even test drive a vehicle before a purchase). He brought some water to our house which was supposed to be out of their same system at the office but how am i supposed to know that was true?

i have not made a payment on it yet since the offer was 3 mos no payments.

Consumer's Desired Resolution:
i am looking for the business to take back the system,since i am not the only one that is not happy in the same town i dont think there is another option. with me having this unit i was supposed to save money on buying drinking water, but neither my family or my neighbours are actually drinking that water so for me it is a waste of money.

03/13/2008 BBB MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : I had someone put a card on my door today from the KRIS business, saying he was here to check my water concerns, I saw that guy walking to my jard and going to the front door, then he walked to his car and left. I was scared to ask him what he was doing in my jard, but then I saw the business card left on my door. He did not knock on my door, just left the card and drove off. I am just telling you this so they will not say later I did not answer the door.

04/07/2008 rmn BBB RECEIVED CONSUMER REBUTTAL TO BUSINESS RESPONSE : if you look at the contract,on the form where it states that we have 3 days to cancel the transaction, we signed bove all that and BEVORE mr lundemo filled in the dates. as i told you before, my husband and i clrarly remember that mr lundemo stated that night that we have 30 days to try out the unit, but on the phone he did not remember saying that and called me a liar.And with the contract NOT signed by either party proves that Mr Lundemo is the one not telling the truth.

Plus on our bill it says that we have a smart set $50 and free installation, but the gentleman refused to put it in and when i tried it did not fit on m faucet and i gave it back, but it is still charged on my bill? now who is the one trying to make some quick money and hiding behind a companies logo?

04/12/2008 BBB MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : my husband and i just took out our dishwasher, because we noticed a water issue under the sink area where it was sitting, thinking it was the dishwasher leaking, when we did that we noticed a big leak under the sink comming from the pipe that goes to the RO system Kris inc just put in. it was not dripping, it was running, the floor is all benting and we called the company but we have to wait on their call back. i just want to let you know that i took pictures and i will have a lawyer look into this problem as well, this is unheard of.
04/15/2008 BBB MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : i have received the letter from the business, the whole thing is a big lie, i was at the house not my husband, i saw everything,plus there was not mentioned at all how my bill is being fixed.

i had someone from eco-water test my system and he told me a lot about how Kris ink got their license pulled....plus he said that my system is not doing a good job on the water.

i have not received any response about my water damage or anything. how can this be legal?

he refuses to come to the house to even look at it.

also my neighbor has not had their system reset and tested, they are still not happy and i have a written consent to prove it, i asked them again about their experience and they hate the system and will not move it, when they move to the farm...that is sad since they just bought it too.

i still have a water damage in the kitchen which the business will not give me and information about what insurance to contact nor will the answer my insurance's phone calls.

i am not able to do water testing because my husband is on a military mission and i am not willing to talk to either one of their employees without an attorney or my husband present, since the employees seem to turn things around and don't repeat things as it actually happened.

Also if you could please help me to get the information to contact the business insurance company so i can submit the claim.

04/29/2008 rmn BBB RECEIVED CONSUMER REBUTTAL TO BUSINESS RESPONSE : I have just received another letter from KRIS offering to take back the system if we did a taste test with him.Well my husband is gone until the end of june and i will not deal with them by myself since they have been lying about every conversation that has took place. i believe that with us not using the water and with the damage that has been done to our kitchen(claim in process)i have proven my point that the system is not what we thought it would be. not only does the water not taste like we thought it would, plus we have to fix our kitchen floor . i do not see a point in playing any more games since Mr. Poovey has offered us to take it out of the house if we would not file a insurance claim on our floor.

In case you receive a copy of mentioned letter, the damage that has been done in my kitchen is not mentioned at all, which should speak for itself.

we did receive a check for 27 dollars but we paid 50 dollars for the smart set, and i remember that because i tried to talk mr. lundemo down and he insisted on charging us 50 dollars for it.As i said there is a neighbor that is unsatisfied with the system as well and i have a letter that will show that they do not like the taste either.I never said that the RO system is not working properly i always said it was the taste.And to my believe every person has different taste, otherwise we would all like the same food or WATER

04/30/2008 BBB MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : I think there is no reason to do a taste test since i had another specialist testing the water and he said that it was working but not as it should. and that is a way better result then a taste test ever would give.and as i said, my husband is on a military mission.
05/19/2008 BBB MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : i have a insurance claim to report but the business is not giving me their information, do to lack of time i will give them 24 hours to give me the information or i will file a police report, i do not know how else to handle this anymore. my husband is gone and i am not a us citizen so i do not know who the authorities are that i have to contact.i have a damage to my kitchen of 770.70 dollar and i need this fixed ASAP since i have to sell the house before august do to us changing duty station.

i am so disappointed in the service the business is performing, while my husband is away, risking his live including for the people that work for that business. All we get in return is lies and rudeness. what happened to costumer service and the customer is King?

This business should call that "we screw everyone, including the ones that risk their lives for our freedom"

I just found out as well that the contract with aqua finance was handled all wrong as well, we got 18% interest while service members are supposed to have 6% interest and if you look on the job description, it clearly states US ARMY....

thanks for keeping up with your slogan( read above)i was told by aqua finance that would have not happened if KRIS had told them in the first place.
