On Friday June 29th I took my car to Krystal Kick Kar to have a diagnostic test due to my car overheating ..... I was told by Larry the owner that this test would determine exactly what was wrong. When the test was completed I was told that the total repairs would be $325.00 and he supposedly waived the $49.95 diagnostic fee because he asked me to pay him $100.00 to order the parts and have them ready for me to return on Saturday for repairs at 9:00AM. 

When I arrived on Saturday morning at 9:00AM after an hour of waiting the so called AC expert told me that the orifice tube was not the part needed they had now found out that this was inside a liquid liner and they would now have to order a liquid liner in addition to the prior quote of $325.00 + tax which escalated the cost to $500 + tax.

By 12:00 Noon the owner arrives and I hear him on the phone ordering parts for a 99 Ford Mustang and he never came to me to give me an update, he started walking in and out of the shop to consult with the AC expert then calls me over to him and tells me to come inside.  Now he tells me that the AC Dryer needed to be replaced but the part would not be there in time - Larry took me home and told me that his wife would pick up the part and my car would be ready in 2 hours which would be 2:30 - 3:PM.

I never heard from the shop so I called them and was told they found another problem the AC Condenser was bad and needed to be replaced.  Larry told me that I would need to leave my car in the shop all week-end since they are closed on Sunday.  I asked for a definite total and his response was I will give you a ball park.   I told him that was not good enough, he would give me an actual total since the diagnostic test discovered $325.00 worth of repairs that had now escalated to $750 + tax. 

Over the week-end I researched online finding several BBB complaints, complaints on his business Yellow Page link not to mention two complaints on your website .... RIP-OFF Report.

Monday morning I had a cab take me to his shop at 9:00AM and told the so call AC Expert to tell me when my car would be ready and not to let Larry know not to add any additional parts because I am aware of all the complaints lodged against Krystal Kick Kar.  He said it would be ready by 12:00 ... when 12:00 noon arrived ..... I had to call them.  They said it should be another 2 hours.  Larry called me at 2:45PM to pick me up.  When we arrived at his shop I saw the so called AC expert on the ground near my gas pedal and wandered what he was doing but was told nothing.  Larry had the AC (non) expert to take it on a test drive then I paid him a total of $720 + the $100 already paid for initial parts.  Larry said that the AC would not work unless I kept it in the VENT position because it now needs a constant fan control and they also mentioned that your car has at least $1,000 to $2,000 worth of repairs that will be needed.  I left his shop drove my car and all seemed well until I woke up Tuesday morning - July 3rd to go too work and the car would not start. 

I called a shop that's 5 to 10 minutes away from my house.  They pooped the hood and we were blown away by the hot wire job done under my hood which kept the AC running even while the car was turned off and they added wires under the gas pedal through to the battery which pulled my battery down.

THIS SHOP USES THEIR FREE AC CHECK AND THE SO CALLED DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO LURE YOU IN SO THAT THE REAL RIP OFF CAN BEGIN!!

WHEN YOU NEED CAR REPAIRS RESEARCH BEFORE YOU GO OTHER WISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

NEVER EVER USE KRYSTAL KWIK KAR ...... NEVER EVER TRUST LARRY SHETH ..... HE IS A LIAR AND CON ARTIST. 

KRYSTAL KWIK KAR NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN IF THEY CONTINUE DECEPTIVE PRACTICES!!!

AS A WARNING TO THE GENERAL HOUSTON AND SURROUNDING AREA OF HIS SHOP --- THEY NEED TO BE EXPOSED ON T.V. and OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA AND STOPPED FROM RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS STARTING NOW!!
