I recently travelled by Kuwait airways to India from JFK, New York to Kuwait on 30th July, 2005. The flight got delayed by three hours; looked more like i would miss the connecting flight from Kuwait to Chennai. When I had enquired the Kuwait Airways officials in JFK about my connection, everyone told me that the connecting flight will be waiting for me. I might had asked 5 officials about the same so that i can drop off if my trip it's going to get delayed.

When i reached Kuwait i came to know the connecting flight has left. The officials were arrogant and very rude. They asked me to stay in Kuwait for 3 days. I explained them about my situation that i'm going to india on a vacation for 12 days, and i can't afford to loose 3 days. After a long struggle they agreed to reroute me to a different place(Cochin) in india. I ended up travelling 400 miles with huge luggages by cab on my own expenses for none of my mistake. In addition to 22 hours air travelI i had to travel 12 more hours by road which was so painfull. I was so much distrubed mentally and physically due to this mess up.

In addition to all these pain Kuwait Airways cancelled my return Ticket on Aug 13,2005.I was told that since i didn't arrive at Chennai airport their system cancelled my return ticket due to 'No Show Status'. This is so ridiculous. After a long struggle to get a ticket confirmation i went to Kuwait Airways-Chennai office on August 12, 4.00PM to seek for a different dates. In the last minute KA asked me to fly on August 13
early morning; which i defintely can't make it.
Inspite of all the requests the authorities kept on ignoring me saying they could issue me a ticket only for September second week. I even begged them that i might LOOSE MY JOB; no one was listening me; instead they asked me to book another ticket.

Finally I manage to buy a new ticket in Air India for September 4,2005. It was so painfull dealing with Kuwait Airways,officials and they were just arrogant. I was stressed so much and lost so much money for none of my mistake. I request you to reimburse all my expenses if not i may have to take legal action and publish in all forums.

I demand that Kuwait Airways should reimburse all my expenses and that the employee whose behavior was so outrageous be identified and disciplined.
