Kwik Kar Auto - Frisco Bring it in for this, lets fix that Frisco, Texas

Took my vehicle in for state inspection and low and behold Kwik Kar claims that there is a power steering leak and it cannot pass.  Have never heard of a vehicle not passing for this reason, actually have never even seen and inspector raise a hood.  None the less the super inspector at Kwik Kar claims that because of some dirt build up and some stains on a hose that there is a leak and the car will not pass inspection.  Keep in mind, no visible fluid or leaks and oh by the way the power steering fluid level is at normal level.  But they would be happy to give me an estimate on repairing the "leak".   I delined and took it for a real mechanics view point and inspection.  And to my amazement, no leak was found or detected.  Typical build up for a car that was 5 years old.  Take it back to Kwik Kar only to have the super inspector tell me that he will not pass the inspection without the hose being replaced.  If I would like a quote, he would be happy to replace it.  By the way the cost to replace the hose, a mere $500. 

Two days later take my car to another dealer who promply passed the vehicle and issued the inspections sticker.  By the way, while I was at Kwik Kar, there was not one time that someone did not come into the waiting area and advise customers that their vehicle needed additional items.  Wiper blades, Air filter, cabin filter or the worst of worst, sir can I show you something on your vehicle routine.  This place is a scam artists dream.  I wish someone would do a secret video show on this location.  Based on what I have read online, sounds like I am not the only one that has had this experience!!
