Kwik Kar Vista Ridge Not to be trusted...be cautious Lewisville Texas

 ***Do not use Kwik Kar Vista Ridge*** I can't speak for all Kwik Kar. But this location you have to be careful and cautious about any work that you have done there. I've had several things done at this location and most of them work done as expected. However almost 2 years ago I had some transmission problems with my 2009 Jeep Wrangler. I took it to this location and they told me the transmission was bad. So I got the price from them because I trusted them at the time to replace the transmission. Did the work and did a good job I'm just putting the transmission in to where it would work with the motor that was in the car. However they were missing boats that were not put back in their shirt off boats in the exhaust of my motor. Those things was not recognized immediately.

A couple of days later I heard rattling on the Jeep. I took it back and I was told that the support structure on the muffler was not attached and need be rewelded. I knew that they had broke it because they're the only ones who have done work on it and I was actually told that I would have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Well a couple of months later I take it back and told them that there was other rattling done I was then told it was the catylic converter and instructed to take it to someone that they recommended to fix it. After about a few months I took my vehicle to Meineke. They informed me that both were missing from the vehicle and they replaced a couple at no charge. The rattling subsided some but then I took it to my mechanic where I live now..

they said due to a lot of the other missing bolts exhaust manifold had cracked. At this time I became very frustrated. I took it back to them and they did fix the exhaust manifold and to stop the rattling that I heard. When I pick the vehicle up the rattlin has stopped. Today the rattlin has started back which is saying that the bolt will not tighten and then I found that the work that had done on the transmission by replacing it was still under warranty factory warranty and this is something that they should have known. However I should have researched this myself but you would think that they would have been honest enough to tell me your transmission is still under factory warranty but no they charged me $3,000 to replace it anyways.

Now I've lost my factory warranty and I'm still dealing with the rattling on the vehicle. When I went to pick the vehicle up the owner which is known me because I have taken all three of our vehicles up there when we lived in that area could barely speak to me which I found very absurd and it should have been apologizing to me for all the things that they have put me through. But he acts as if I was a bother to him in the service levels that they had to give for an issue that they caused. Be very careful in using Kwik Kar Vista Ridge. Check your warranty. Also when they told me the Cadillac converter was bad it wasn't bad and it was also under warranty which is something that I found out from the dealership up to 80,000 miles as a matter of fact. Again be very careful in using Kwik Kar Vista Ridge.
