Went to check out la maison furniture for a bedroom set, we had previously bought a dinning set and after at least 3 months 2 chairs broke. I wasn't sure if they would replace them or fix them, because it was my first time making a big purchase. Plus i didn't have the time to be dealing with that and decided to buy a bench to replace the chairs.

Anyways,  i went back because i had nice customer service the first time.  We went through the catalog and they showed us a set which it looked nice on the picture but i had never order through a catalog before and this time i was looking for solid wood i ask for the quality and the sales person told me it was a good quality of solid wood. Than my husband ask me like 5 times if i was sure about the set i told him yes, if the quality was the way they had just told us. My husband decided to pay with debit the full amount. Then i just start walking through the store and saw the actual set and it looked completely different than what they had said. The wood looked really weak and the set looked like a really cheap quality. I 

went out to the car and told my husband to ask for the refund of the money because i wasnt convinced of the quality and didn't like how it looked at all. He went to ask for our money and the owner of the place gave him the option to get something better for the same price then my husband called me and we decided to go for that one than the owner said we would have to pay at least $100 more.

 

He didn't keep his word and then we told him we rather get the money back and he said they would keep 35% of the money  if we cancel.

 We ask him how was that possible if we hadn't left the place or  they hadn't order the set or deliver the product to us. Even the person that sold us the set start yelling back and still didnt want to return the money.

ow we don't have our money back which was really hard to save and we are going to be stuck with a product we don't want and the service is the worst we have ever experience. It was on sunday evening, which the paper clearly saids they charge 35% fee if i want to refund the product after they have delivery it to me. Avoid to buy in that store before you pay they treat you really nice after if you complaint they treat you like crap. Now my concern is if they treat us that way what kind of product are they going to deliver if they don't care what the customer wants.
