I see many complaints from those who paid hundreds for services that were never rendered after the LA Weight Loss bankruptcy.  Why did the bk judge allow them to profit from selling the name LA Weight Loss to another company after, while LA Weight Loss still owed their clients large sums of money?  

LA Weight Loss went bankrupt, then sold or leased the name "LA Weight Loss" to another company that is selling a similar diet plan.  Don't be fooled, this is NOT the REAL original LA Weight Loss plan.

I was able to continue my success by buying a CD with PDF files of the REAL plans off of ebay.  Instead of buying the over priced bars, I used Luna, Zone and Balance bars that I buy for 1/3 of the price as the LA Lites in my local supermarket.....they work just as well.  The true LA Weight Loss plan works great.  I lost 72 lbs on it eating well without ever plateauing; however the over-priced bars, snacks and supplements are totally not necessary....that is where they ripped people off.  They sold them a year supply of over-priced bars in advance, using a 24% interest installment loan in some cases, then went bankrupt and never supplied the bars they owed the clients.  The clients were left with the installment loan to pay, and LAWL sold their name and never paid the clients back with the profits.
