LabCorp Performing tests not ordered, fraudulent billing ripoff Joliet Illinois

I was given and order by my doctor for three lab tests. I went to Labcorp on 12/18/06 for these THREE tests. When my doctor called for the results, they hadn't run ANY of the three tests that were ordered however someone within their organization took it upon themselves to ALTER my lab order and performed SIX TESTS THAT WERE NOT ORDERED OR NECESSARY!

When my doctor's office questioned it, labcorp representatives insist that those tests were on the original order, but the thing is, the handwriting doesn't even match! However, the labcorp rep assured my doctor that I would not be billed for these erroneous charges and they would run the additional three tests. Well, imagine my surprise when my insurance was billed for not only the ordered test but the fraudulent tests as well!

I called my insurance and notified them and then called labcorp. The rep at labcorp said she would have this investigated and someone would call me back. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. STAY AWAY FROM LABCORP!
