Received a call from Amanda advising me she was with the Labor Law Compliance Institute, and that she would be sending us our mandated posters and compliance information.

Was advised that these were required by law and that we had the option to pay by credit card of telecheck.

While I had her on the phone, my business partner was searching for the company name on the web and found the scam info. When I advised her that we had indications that she was running a scam, she got very standoffish and acted insulted.

This information is provided free by the state/federal departments of labor, and you don't have to purchase them from some hyped up 'consulting' group.
