Lady's Legacy Equine Rescue Legacy Stables Lying, fraud, psycho Poughquag New York

I originally wasn't even going to waste my time responding to this, as it is the same individuals or in this case "family" that have been harrasing and cyber bullying me for the past 4 years but quite honestly, i've had enough of it and this will be the last time I respond to any sort of harrasment, bullying, slander or lies from them, as advised by my lawyer. I do want to thank all of my clients, friends and volunteers, for taking the time, without even asking to post their thoughts and positive experiences they have had with me, my family, my business and the rescue. You are the reason I strive to be the best I can be. 

I know the person who wrote this report, she is the cousin of the woman who has been stalking and harrassing me, my business, my rescue and my family for far too long. She and her family, obviously, cannot let go of the past or admit when they're wrong and move on. The girl who wrote this report is also upset because one of my clients, dated her ex-boyfriend (none of which is my problem or has any relevancy to me or my business). Everything listed in this "ripoff report" is lies and i'm sure you're thinking "well of course she would say its lies, its about her!" but this is not the case. I have financial reports that prove no rescue money has been "stolen" by myself or my family, I have a degree from the college i attended, granting me with the completion of the Veterinary Technology program, I have never used craigslist, facebook or any other social media platform to otherwise slander or defame these people or anyone else for that matter. They only knew me for 2 years but seem to think they've known me my entire life. Who i was when I knew them, is not who I am now. Since then, I have graduated college, own my own business, worked for many veterinary clinics, shadowed equine vets in the area and started an equine rescue which has saved many horses from an otherwise untimely death. 

It is not fair and quite frankly it's extremely childish, unprofessional and idiotic to continue harassing and slandering me after all of these years. I don't expect a 19 year old, hot headed adolescent to understand the severity of what she writes but I do expect a 40-something year old to act like a mature, adult, business owner and understand the consequences before she becomes a "keyboard warrior". I have every single one of you blocked on every social media outlet and yet you STILL continue to find out every little detail about my life...don't you think that's a little bit creepy and indicative of a mental health problem? My barn is drama free and a place where people can enjoy their horses. The only drama in my life has been from YOU and your family. I am asking you to please leave me alone and stop harassing me. I also know that you have been on my farm without my permission multiple times; whether it was hiding in the back of your boyfriends truck or at 2am when you thought nobody was awake. I'm done with you people and have been for FOUR YEARS. None of you have ever seen me verbally abuse anyone, nor have you seen me kick anyone out of my barns and if I did, my reasoning wouldn't be any of your business anyways AND if I did kick someone out, they are/were free to come at their own will to remove their belongings. I have never used anyones stuff on my own horses. How can you even say that when none of you have ever even been to my barn in the first place? Move on with your lives and stop obsessing over the past. You have no clue who I am and what I know, so, please, stop assuming I know nothing about horses. I do recall several situations at your barn where I found horses choking, colicing and having difficulty breathing or profusely bleeding from the head/nose and mouth, while you were preoccupied. I know what I'm doing and I have the track record to prove it. I can happily provide references from equine vets who have sent horses to MY barn for rehabilitation after injury. 

Stepping foot into your barn more then 4 years ago was both the biggest mistake of my entire life and the best thing that ever happened to me. You showed me exactly who I don't want to become and how bitter the horse world can be but you also introduced me to the love of my life and my once in a lifetime horse, Jack. I regret ever meeting you and your family but I don't for one second regret meeting Jack and as much as you've made my life a living hell, I would do it all again in a heartbeat if it meant that he would be mine. I truly feel sorry for you and I hope that one day you will find happiness but I can assure you, you won't find happiness by bullying, harrasing and slandering other people. You're persistent harrasment and negative comments about me have been the driving force in my determination to always be kind, work harder and to always remember that at the end of the day, wolves don't lose sleep over the opinion of sheep. 

 Stop bashing these people and get a life. I know them personally and whoever is writing this couldn't be more wrong about these wonderful people. Yes, they have a boarding facility and the horses are extremely well cared for. Yes, they also have a rescue (a legitimate 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) and those horses are also extremely well cared for. I have worked at events for the rescue and NONE of that money "slips into their pockets", are you kidding me??? They receive MAYBE $200 in donations at these events, that doesn't even cover food for these rescue horses for one month. These women PAY OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS to feed these rescues, have their feet done and all veterinary expenses.

You think the measly $200 they raise at the flea market or an event they host, will cover the expenses of PROPERLY caring for these horses? You must have never owned a horse or been around horses to know that. As for your comments that they wouldn't know a sick horse?? Please. Kait has been trained in all aspects of Veterinary Technician Medicine. She attended not only Marist college (a prestigious, private school), she also attended San Juan college and worked at several Veterinary clinics during her time at San Juan, including Equine clinics. She is not licensed, as she never went forward with the testing but never has she stated that she WAS licensed, ever.

You don't need to be licensed to work as a veterinary technician and her 7+ years working in the field, more than qualifies her. Just being in her presence you can tell she is a very educated young woman. She has saved the lives of several horses, including those who have boarded with her and those she has rescued. Just take a look at her reviews on both the rescue and the Stables. 5 stars. Those are LEGITIMATE reviews, written by REAL people, not false reviews left by an individual who has to hide behind their keyboard. If you feel so strongly about your review, post your name. Clearly your review is nothing more than an attempt to discredit a wonderful facility and an amazing organization who have poured their hearts and souls into this.

I don't believe these people are capable of causing trouble for anyone, I just believe for whatever reason, you are a bitter individual and that may stem from jealously. Who knows. You can continue to spew your hate, you're only hurting the horses. For anyone who is reading this, if you have ANY doubts in your mind about the legitimacy of these women and their organization, please, do your research. Don't believe a "keyboard warrior" hiding behind a false name spreading lies. I truly hope whoever wrote this, gets their karma because nothing is going to destroy the support that I, as well as thousands of other people, have for Lady's Legacy. As for my rescue family, please don't let this bitter, jealous person rent any space in your head. I've seen all of your hard work and I'm so proud to stand beside you and all of the other volunteers who work tirelessly day in and out to help rescue horses in need. <3

 Seems to me that whoever wrote that bashing post not only doesn't know Kaitlin at all (who did finish vet school indeed) but also doesn't wish her very well and is trying hard to tarnish her name. I have been almost a year boarding at her facility and has not seen a single time yet her making ANY posts on any type of social media bashing others, stating lies, or being unprofessional.

 "I've boarded 4 of my horses with Legacy over a years period. Kait has taken care of my obese, arthritic, metabolic quarter horse, my hard keeper Thoroughbred, my yearling mustang filly and my 18 year old Rescue mustang with the same care and compassion she does her own horses. She individualizes the care for each horse knowing not every horse is the same. My horses always were happy, healthy and well cared for. As for the rescue, I've been an avid donor for years and I watch how my donated money is spent. It goes RIGHT TO THE RESCUES! They even use there OWN money to pay for things for the rescue horses. Kait has never ever done anything to harm any horse and has saved one of the horses that boards with her. Shes definitely a vet tech and one of the best business owners I've ever met"

 Let me start by saying that whoever wrote the last review of Legacy Stables clearly had no clue what they were saying. How do I know? Well, I'm a boarder at Legacy and see things first hand. This person stated that she "believed" that horses are fed and they have water. I'm going to say this straight: whoever wrote it, obviously has NO CLUE what is going on at Legacy Stables! My horse (and all others) have UNLIMITED hay 24/7. They always have fresh water, whether outside or in. My horse came underweight and undermuscled and it's only because of Kait's unbelievable care he looks the way he does now! Also, and mostly-you, who wrote that review, had absolutely no knowledge or rights to state that Kait or Legacy don't know how to deal with a sick or injured horse.

Well, let me tell you this-my horse suffered a horrible injury due to no fault of Legacy Stables and Kait and staff could not be any more knowledgeable and accommodating, catering to his wounds and needs and going above and beyond! I can truly say that because of Legacy my horse is alive and doing great. I speak from my experience and don't hide behind "anonymous" cowardly name. If anybody would like to reach out to me and ask more questions about Legacy Stables and the wonderful care they provide, if anyone would like to learn the facts about the rescue that Kait has been doing, learn about the numbers or horses saved from slaughter, abused situations, you name it-then please ask me or any other boarder questions. Or please meet Kait. You will not regret!

We all will tell you why we love Legacy, how incredibly knowledgeable Kait is when it comes to horses, and will invite you to come see the farm and take a look at any of the horses. I guarantee you that once you do it, you will want your horse to come and be at Legacy. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found Legacy and I'm beyond grateful for all the extraordinary care my horse has been receiving since day 1! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. My horse and I couldn't be any happier. We absolutely love Legacy Stables and whoever wrote that not so nice review clearly did not know squat about Kait and Legacy Stables!

 Kaitlin also spends most of her time, bashing people on the internet, whether it be Facebook, craigslist, or other websites. She also claims to be a vet tech, when in reality she never even finished school.
