Laikeet.com Placing an order with US company and getting product from Hong Kong!! Bradenton Florida

I purchased two dog training collars from Laikeet.com. After what seemed like forever, they finally came from Hong Kong!! After opening them and throwing away the corroded batteries, I find that one doesn't work and the other only works part of the time. I notify the seller and requested a refund.

The seller tells me that I have to return the product to Hong Kong. After many emails, the bottom line is this: I have to return the collars to Hong Kong at a cost of $11 without verification of receipt, or $23 for a verification that the product was received, per the post office. Now this is in addition to the $88.97 I paid for the collars including $2.99 for shipping.

I bought the collars from Laikeet.com which is located in Bradenton, FL. My educated guess is that they bought the product from Hong Kong and want me to pay to ship it back to Hong Kong. I would not have ordered this from Hong Kong, no matter if it only cost two cents!!!
They will not refund my money even knowing that the collars are no good and can easily be determined to be "junk".

The last communication from them offered me one half of the price I paid, if I didn't want to return them to Hong Kong. I didn't do business with Hong Kong. My business and purchase was from Laikeet.com. Nothing on that site gave any indication that they are located in Hong Kong. They aren't, but that's what they keep trying to make me believe so they don't have to send it back themselves. I should suggest they keep it their for the next victim.

I will not remain anonymous since I've already gotten in touch with the FTC and Attorney General of Florida. I will also contact the BBB in Bradenton.
