Laminate Home Store do not honor warranty, horrible customer service, liars ripoff Tampa Florida

I purchased laminate floors (including installation) from The Laminate Home Store, less than a year ago. While I found the flooring quality to be OK, their service is HORRIBLE. They DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY.

On my contract with The Laminate Home Store it says in black and white that I have a "20 Yr warranty on wood, pad, + labor, as advertised".

We noticed a couple defects in the installation. When we called The Laminate Home Store to have them send somebody to fix the defects, we were amazed by the answers we got from them:

1) They sent us a letter saying that we needed to pay $175 if we wanted someone to come to our home to inspect our floors (this is not written anywhere in our contract)!

2) When we protested, they said that the warranty is with the installer, not with them. OUR CONTRACT IS ENTIRELY WITH THE LAMINATE HOME STORE, NOT WITH THEIR SUBCONTRACTORS!

3) Apparently, they didn't do business anymore with their previous subcontractors, and they told us to deal with them: this is none of our business! Again, our contract is with The Laminate Home Store, and only them.

4) They told us that the sales rep who had us sign the contract was no longer with them, and hence what was written on the contract wasn't their responsibility. RIDICULOUS! They had to check the contract before executing the order, if there was any problem they should have raised it then! Also, once again, our contract is with the The Laminate Home Store, not with their individual employees!

5) One of their staff in Tampa (who called herself a manager) refused to give me her name! She refused to give me any manager's name!

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They will screw you. Once they have your money they DON'T CARE ABOUT WHATEVER WARRANTY THEY GAVE YOU.

NOTE: All the above is true. I'm not a "fake customer", as some of their staff will tell you in other rebuttals to rip-off reports.
