We purchased a used truck from Landers Chev. salesman Bob Norman, in the purchase price Bob and I agreed that Landers' would repair the dents in the truck, do touch up painting, remove all scratchs and detail the truck. This was on 10/28/08. The truck would be ready 10/31/08.

On 10/31/08 I called Landers to see if the truck was ready. Bob Norman told me that the body guy wasn't done and it would be Monday. On Monday, 11/3/08, I called Bob and he told me that the body guy wasn't there today and they would have the truck ready Tuesday. I asked that since this was taking longer than you told me would you deliver the truck. Bob agreed.

On Wednesday, 11/4/08, around 5 p.m. (almost dark) they delivered the truck. YOU GUESSED IT. It was not detailed, all the scratchs were not removed, all the touch up wasn't done, runs in the paint, overspray on the windows, hood, top of truck, and windshield. And the headlight was hanging out by the wires. I immediately called Bob Norman. He said bring it back and they would take care of it.

We returned the truck the next day with all these problems and 2 additional problems. A noise coming from the A/C vents. Then a noise under the truck that we and Bob Norman and his mechanic at the dealership said was the brakes. Well, it wasn't the brakes but the transmission. We talked with Pat Campbell, sales manager, about the transmission and all the other items above and he told us we bought a used truck and there was nothing they would do except the detail and scratches because we had paid for those and get the overspray off. Pat Campbell told us that if they sold a vehicle and the transmission went out before we got it off the lot then they would "probably" fix it. Pat Campbell assured us that he would talk with the service department and see about getting the transmission fixed at their cost and let us know.

After 3 weeks, we got our truck back with nothing done except the headlight fixed.

We have had to put in a transmission, a steering shaft & bearing, a knock sensor (which is 2 sensors, gasket, wiring harness).

So whatever you do DON"T BUY FROM LANDERS!!! We believe that they knew the truck was in this condition and wasn't forth coming about it.

DON'T BUY FROM LANDERS !!! Remember the Salesmen: Don Lange and Bob Norman Sales manager: Pat Campbell
