Landmark forum is a cult and an organized crime entity.  They enter into houses and lives of people who have issues or some areas in their lives not working (well hello that is life) we are human and not everything works 100%, they prey on innocent people to get into their scheme of scams.

First your partner or friends will get into this scam they in turn manipulate or even threaten you (in my case it was my wife who was brain washed so badly, she thinks landmark is god and truth). Once they get hold of you slowly make you do one scam program and the next and next, they worked out that each candidate have to produce minimum 20,000 to 30,000 $.  They bullshit you that you are giving freedom and crap to others, this is all a scam and fantasy.  I attended Landmark Forum, my wife said life will be better after advance course did that, the next scam was SELP and Leadership program where you Must register minimum 25 candidates this is 25 x 600 = about 15,000 revenue for Landmark.  These people who make others work for free they call them volunteers and room captains these titles sound great.

I had a business and had no debt until my wife got into this scam, now I lost the business in 4 years lost both houses, 2 cars and ended up with 800,000 debts.  The scammers who work for Landmark creped into our business through .. (My ex-wife) and poisoned my wifes thought process, she lost control over the business and her life, she cant think for herself anymore.  It all works through and via the organized scam mob.  I had no choice as I was threatened to either loose the marriage and our kids or go do landmark and just shut-up and pretend all is good.  My Ex-wife forced many of our employees to attend landmark forum and some of the employees quit after they came back from the scan and cult coaching.  This landmark forum has occupied my ex-wifes so so so much she never cared for the kids or was ever home.  She spent so much money flying to Sydney and was paying for our employees to participate in the forums, if any employee rejects to participate they were fiered, to avoid job looses many of the employees went and did the forum but quit the job upon return.

They meet in groups and plan their next cult movement and whom to target next, I wish one day these poor volunteers will wake upto to themselves and at least live rest of their lives free of guilt and clean up the s**t and mess they have created with so many people.  These scammers (volunteers) are worst then the (Rajneesh Cult from Oregon in 70s) and any other known cults, as they pretend they are doing you a favor and screw your life and pull wool over your eyes and pull the rug underneath your feet, when you are falling they pretend they are catching you and helping you and you take a wild guess you are so so deep in the gutter there is no coming back. This cult wants you to depend on them, they will create situations that you need them from now on, they take control of your life by even entering into your kids life as young as 7 years olds, and they poison their minds from the young age and create their own foot solders to create future scams. All I want to say is Please stay away from this Landmark if you want to live a normal life.  I lost all my friends, family, my business, marriage, and everything that was & is dear to me. 

Thank god I got out of it just before I was totally consumed by this cult & became one of the cult members.  I have lots of work to do to get back on my feet, clear my head of cult teachings and get rid of the dirt they put into your head and poison your mind & soul.

As you sound like there is no hope for you I really feel bad about what has happened to you!

I just took the course on the 12/18/2009 (3 weeks ago) and my experience is completely the opposite from what has happened to you! Its really disturbing to read and almost impossible to relate to what you are saying because I could not disagree more! I can say with certainty that I had the most rewarding experience about my participation and the time with The Forum. From what I could see, it had a profound difference on most of the participants here in Philadelphia as well!

I guess it is like they say at the seminar. Its just like it is in life... you'll get what you put in it!

Is it true that you have scammed the lady in the post #7?

Is it true that no-one should participate because you didn't get anything out of it?

I would recommend everyone to see and form their own opinion about what this experience can be for themselves and not relay on just a few people who's point of view differ from their own.

BTW.. I did not understand either why someone would volunteers before I took the seminar and thought of it the same way you did. Ive questioned it too! And I came to realize... they believe and want to make a difference and help people while participating on another level (its always better to give than to receive) and they have made a choice!

And a million dollar question...

Why does anyone volunteers at anything?

I was the victim of Sam Maradani (SM), of Clontarf, Qld, I suppose God have eyes...his story made me open my champagne today...

SM claims he is the expertise in the "investment program" and knows his contacts with all the people/so called trader around the world, UK and USA, works with the banking instruments....and generate high yield investment program.

I got some friends who got the banking instruments and passed on everything to him. Later on, he claimed he must travel to UK. and asked me to pay his ticket money to secure our commissions. I did pay directly to his bank account my $2500. Later on he claimed he cancelled his ticket, and no need to travel to UK, and waiting for the refund of the ticket money. Later on he emailed me (I got all the proves), that he received the refund..and will pay me back later.

Everyday he promised tomorrow 1000x that he will refund and transfer my money to my bank account,but his tomorrow never comes..later on he promised to compensate me and pay everything to $3,500. even sms me confirming the same. He texted me and said he will ask his sister from USA (surgeon) to pay me directly to my bank account...the Western Union promised never comes...

His story getting bigger, his sister came from USA and will give him some extra money, USD$50,000. and he promised to pay me from his sister's fund....Even one of my friend in brisbane was talking to his sister, a surgeon from usa, (which I thought was noble and credible person?????) promising to pay my fund...but again it was nothing..remain story only...

THIS HAPPENED SINCE 2008, AND HE CLAIMED AT THAT TIME HE ALREADY HAD HIS FAMILY PROBLEMS, and going for divorce and in the edge of bankcrupcy??? but in the forum he claimed in 2009??? isnt it funny?

His words and promised to me always lies, I got all his email promises if anyone wish to read it or to investigate further, Iam a single mum with two kids, I was in need of the fund for my hand operation, but through his lies and 1million excuses, he never pay me anything until now..so I curse him day and nite since that time, I suppose it works...GOD HAVE EYES.........HAHAHAHHA

After over a year of screwing me around and taking $4000 of my hard earned money the owner declared bankrupcy and vowed to pay me back all the money owed to me. Well i havent seen any of that money YET but its good to see that the owner of Global recruitments is getting what he deserves :-) . Sounds like your wife had a few screws loose and that your marriage was already doomed.  Landmark has changed my life for the better ... and I have never been closer to my friends or family. Certainly not the profile of a cult.  It's clear you did NOT do the Self Expression and Leadership Program (SELP); if so, you'd have known that this program is NOT about "selling" Landmark, but about creating a project for your community.   If your assertions were true, that would make Make-A-Wish, the wonderful charity that grants wishes to dying children, a fraud, as it came out of that program.  So, good luck to you ... find another scapegoat, because it's not Landmark.

As someone who has taken some of Landmark Education's courses, I would like to respectfully disagree with the original complaint insofar as my experience with this company goes.

In both the Landmark Forum class and two leadership classes I took later, I had very positive experiences with both the course leaders and the other other class participants. Most people I met were extremely helpful and friendly, and very interested in what they could do to help and support other people. My sense of the employees of Landmark Education was that they were more interested in making a difference than in making a buck for themselves off of people. I cant understand why you would call this a cult, although I understand that some folks find a lot of smiling, friendly people sort of creepy!

Frankly, it seems that you are very upset about things that have happened with your wife and your business, with which I can sympathize, given the tough times were in, but your beef seems a bit misplaced. And I'm not sure where the other responder is coming from, or why he finds self-help classes to be so sinister. all I know is that after doing some of the courses, im much closer to my friends and family, and free from some very negative things that happened to me in the past.

As soon as I saw the name "Landmark", I knew there was trouble ahead....

Landmark is right up there with Amway/Quixtar and is even compared to Scientology in it's practices of enslaving minds, destroying friendships, relationships of all kinds and destroying lives completely. They all work the same, blinding people to reality and demanding total obedience.

I'm surprised Aus hasn't outlawed the likes of Landmark by now.
