Landstar Ranger Trucking Misleading from day 1 Jacksonville Florida Internet

 I just started and left a great job looking for freedom in the trucking industry just to find that it's all propaganda at Landstar Ranger. I'm so disappointed being that so many drivers spoke highly of this company. First of all they don't have enough freight for 9000 owner ops nor do they have trailers, I waited 6 days to get a trl to book a load and drove 300 miles to get it they paid me .65 per mile but, when I got there no loads on the board to book. So I waited for the next day for some good to come and boy was I excited when the loads popped up! Started calling agents and the loads were unavailable as soon as they reached the board....agents were lying saying they would call back and nothing happened! I was charged for all these fees and hadn't been able to find any good freight....$370. I have never seen anything so botched in my entire trucking career. I'm ready to go back to my former company. I can see plenty of heavy loads with 1$ a mile left on the board and I'm starting to believe that these are the real loads....it's a rat race for every good load. Maybe 5 good $3.00 loads hit the board everyday but a minute after yo see it it's gone. IDK what kind of games they are playing over here but it's not funny! Trucking is gone down hill and landstar isn't the answer. There's no benefits, life insurance, no deadhead pay, and cheap freight. And if you break down on a load you have to pay a driver to deliver it! You might drive 75% of the way and have to pay the driver all the money you made on the load....plus they won't let you rent another truck if you break down. Their entire format is designed to help you fall....your on your own for real with no privalages! This job is for a retired person who just wants to do something here and there or a young person without real bills!
